Sherlock Holmes Chapter One

i am going to recommend this game for the story itself over anything else. story to me was a 10/10 but the gameplay seemed very janky and travel was pretty annoying. combat was probably the worst, being very arcade like and lacking any thrill. overall if you like a good story its the game for you but the play itself leaves something to be desired

I came to solve my mother's mystery. Instead, the game made me solve the mystery of where the next clue was. The cases were great, the story kept me hooked, and for a few hours I genuinely felt smarter than I actually am. Unfortunately, the map had other plans and occasionally turned every investigation into a scavenger hunt. Combat exists. That's all I have to say about that. Still, despite getting lost more often than Sherlock should, I enjoyed every case and would happily replay it to make different choices. Sherlock Holmes: Master Detective. Me: Professional Guide User. 7.5/10. Would investigate again.

I love the way we can roam around and choose to do whatever quest we want. I know the takeover of the lairs gets repetitive but i had fun overall playing the game.

I hoping for a normal point and click adventure/detective game not combat.

Було цікаво зіграти у гру про Шерлока у відкритому світі, якщо задуматися, це дуже гарне поєднання. Графіка та сам світ виглядають гарно, але гарна мапа потребує певної прив'язаності і спогадів, яких не хватило. Дещо кам'яна міміка у другорядних персонажів. Історії цікаві, хвалю. Було важко звикнути спочатку, не одна година пішла для звикання до нового ігроладу. Можливо дещо бракувало QoL. Ставлю 8/10

I love how unfinished this game feels

I'm writing this review as a Sherlock Holmes fan, so don't take it very seriously if you're just here for a nice, fun, open world detective game. This game didn't feel like Sherlock Holmes at all, as opposed to the previous ones. I get that he's supposed to be young and impulsive, but he definitely doesn't seem like the type of person to have literal hallucinations and behave the way he does here. Also, the Sherlock-Mycroft relationship feels way off with the one they have on the books. That being said, the ending is pretty neat and the gameplay was fun overall.

“Sherlock Holmes Chapter One” мене дуже затягнула. Світ гри вийшов атмосферний і цікавий — реально хочеться досліджувати кожну локацію. Квести різноманітні й захоплюють, не дають нудьгувати. Особливо сподобалась історія: вона трохи сумна, але добре написана й додає глибини персонажам. Загалом гра залишила дуже сильні враження, і я точно планую проходити інші частини цього світу, щоб ще більше зануритися в історії Шерлока.

The crime stories are very well written, although is a slow game, but there are a lot of different cases and side quest that makes it very engaging. I do recommend it!!

The game is so beautifull, the story 10/10. The gameplay is good. The enviroment so peacefull and pretty. I really liked the variety of themes of the cases. The reconstruction of the cases is one of my favorite things same as the cinematics and the fighting scenes. And of course THAT ending was perfect and got me into tears. One of my favorite games so far.
