So heres how this game works : the thing is shown to you and you need to find the stuff which is shown. Im not really an expert in these type of games so it did take me some time to find sh!t. :D Fun little point & click kinda chill game, good time killer !
The Rosebud Condominium is a fast-paced, hidden object game with a lot of twists and themes to make it challenging, fun and feeling less repetitive. The story is about Sarah, she's an architect that got hired by a grieving man to build the tallest building in the world, just because his wife her last words were "TALLER!" The sky isn't the limit for her new boss, so she keeps building, even in space. She's also a single mother and doesn't give her daughter any attention while she looses herself in this project. Eventually she tells her boss she can't build any higher because they are stressing the fabric of space-time, but he's demanding her to keep on building taller! The entire building collapses, they created a big bang and the boss finally sees his dead wife, and she's saying "Oh silly, That's not what I meant when I said taller!" You see Sarah with her daughter at her school with a A+ on her test and nothing gets explained any further, which is a little disappointing. The game gets harder as you progress and each hidden object is random which gives it a lot of replay value. There are different stages with their own theme and twists to make it more challenging. For example finding things with a flashlight, upside down rooms, rooms that get frozen or locked or aliens flying in front of you to block your view. This must be the ultimate hidden object game, it's so advanced and it truly impressed me! However, sometimes the object that you are looking for is standing behind a bigger object, so you can't find it which sucks. I wouldn't recommend it for the story but the gameplay was challenging and very entertaining. While normally I turn off the music in games, I kept it on this time because it was very relaxing and fitting. Too bad the game doesn't have achievements, it would make the game even better. Apart from a few displeasing factors, my overall experience was great.
I went into playing this game with a curious and open mind because I like HoGs. I've never minded having a timer in one, but not where you have an extremely short time to find something very tiny in a large map that you can easily miss. However, some elements like opening and closing certain sections and the lights out made it interesting. I think it could have been a little better with an option to play without a timer or make the time a little longer. Would I recommend this game? Likely not. I haven't gotten very far into it, but I don't actually enjoy it which is disappointing.
Rosebud Condominium may seem like yet another casual video game, but hidden behind this facade hides a critical videogame that imparts an important life lesson. The heroine, Sarah, is indeed aspiring to stratospheric heights. Joining her are two mysterious men; her "boss" who has mandated to her the impossible task of creating the tallest condominium that the world has yet to see, and Craig, whose various schemes are a constant threat to the completion of her out of this world project. Rosebud Condominium is a masterpiece in that it is able to present the concept of futility under the guise of a lighthearted video game. But of course, only the most intelligent can see through this facade. As such, it is able to provide both a meaningful life message and a worthwhile amount of gameplay. If you have the time and money to play a video game, then I suggest that you get Rosebud Condominium to experience how a seemingly mundane video game can serve as a medium to impart important life lessons.
Wait For a Sale
This is a well-made hidden object game that will keep you busy for a few hours. There are 48 levels and I only had a few issues throughout it all. I wanted to 3-star every level, so I had to find every item it asked within a short-ish amount of time. I had to restart a level about 5-10 times total because the item I was supposed to find was hidden behind another item and I couldn't see it. It rarely happened, but was quite annoying when it did. The only other issue is that sometimes the levels can be very distracting and disorienting with the way the level tries to make it harder for the user to find the items. Some of the later levels made me feel a bit nauseous because of the rapid movement of items. It's a fun, fast-paced hidden-object game that I enjoyed quite a bit, however the $10 price tag may seem steep to some people, since the game lasts about 2.5 hours. There is a bit of replay value though, since the items scattered throughout the levels are always randomized, you could continuously replay levels and get different objects to find each time. I enjoyed this game and would recommend picking it up if you are interested in casual games, and especially if you like hidden-object games.
Um... so no actual ending. This is kind of an odd game. I want to say I like it... and some levels were quite fun, but the levels where they shake the screen were nauseating. And in the snow ones were they had sheets of snow falling it actually started to make me dizzy. I didn't mind the one were they switched rooms around, but then they started to do them so fast it was ridiculous. Overall... I can't recommend this. Just not enough to make it worth playing. Lots of other HoG's out there.
This is a very simple 2D retro pixel hidden object puzzle game with a timer. Click through various pixel homes to select various objects. Implementation wise, this one gets a fail. They chose to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Despite the low quality visuals, they're charging a whopping $10 USD for this mobile-esque clicker shovelware. The same price would get you proper PC games like Rome: Total War, Frostpunk or Portal 2 on sale. This game is nowhere in that league, it's impossible to recommend.
