I purchased new games and downloaded them just to test that they would boot up and run correctly within the return window. I ended up getting sucked into this game and playing it all the way through to the end. I found it fun! You have to do things for various people in order to build a relationship before they will give you hints that you need to solve the crime. The card portion only comes into play when you're in battle or if you choose to use tactical diplomacy to resolve different situations. I haven't tried replaying it yet, but I'm curious to see how much it actually changes for replayability.
Pessimo.
I think this was a work of genius. It is not the sort of thing that can captivate me for consistent replays, but the one play through I had was great. Well done devs.
Got this in a mystery bundle, it was like 20 games for $15. I like it. Took a little over 3 hours to finish a "run." I like the art style and the concept of the game.
This game is okay. It is a cool idea overall and the card battles are fun, at least for my short playtime. I wish there was more puzzle / deduction gameplay and less card battles.
Comprei por 3 reais. Valeu a pena.É um jogo simples, mas divertido.
this one i like a lot by far the best non internet flash sight game nerdook has made like most of his titles its a little small and i wish there was more however ive played this enough to confidently call it a fun game
The Magister is an inventive take on the roguelike deckbuilding genre. Collecting evidence for the murder was fun. I especially liked confronting suspects with contradictory evidence. It is worth at least one playthrough.
If all the characters could hypothetically have a reason to kill the old magister maybe there's something wrong w the gov system ay. Anyway pretty fun and easy to get sucked into :)
Good murder mystery fun, with each run through being slightly different, can still be challenging even when you know what you should be doing (this is a good thing).
