It is the 3rd edition of the Armor Clash game that comes with numerous updates. Armor Clash 3 is available for different operating systems, including Linux, Windows, and macOS. However, PlayStation and Xbox One users are not lucky enough to experience the Armor Clash game on their platform. This game depends on the player's action. One bad strategy can defeat or win your army. In this game, you can construction different building units and gather various resources. Thanks to the diverse forces that make this game seems realistic. You may feel like you are in a real war situation. There are various sea, air, and land vehicles that work as your army to compete with the opponent.
Gameplay and Mechanics
Armor Clash 3 is an army based RTS game where you need to focus on constructing your units, building, and troops. Your opponent can strike you with their air, land, or sea forces. So you need to take care of all the aspects and requires to make a stronger air force, navy, and land forces so that you can face your enemies from all sides. The more powerful your troops are, the more are your chances of winning, but that is not the case always. Sometimes a strong army with poor strategy can lead to a defeat. So ensure that you are having a strong force as well as an intelligent plan. At the top side of vehicles, troops, and buildings, you may see a yellow bar. That yellow bars represent the health of the particular stuff. For example, if the yellow bar on a specific building is full, it indicates that the building is in excellent condition. But if the yellow bar is low, then the building has been damaged, and you need to look at your building. Once the power of your building is low, you can increase it again with different methods. Other than this, some of the units help you to create a new army that you can utilize in war. Players can also increase their air, land, or sea support via the help of particular units. So if you want to give a fierce competition to your opponent, then make sure to build a full-strength troop.
Challenging Modes
There are three separate modes that you can try out in Armor Clash 3 game. 1V1, 2V2, and Challenge are some available modes that you can experience. One major thing that people don't like about the game is that it doesn't contain any story mode. However, finding a story in the RTS game is quite complicated because most of these games come without any specific plot. In the 1V1 mode, you get a chance to complete with a touch competitor AI. In case you are a newcomer to this game, then you might find it challenging to play 1V1 against the computer. The difficulty level of the game is moderate, which is quite a good thing for gamers like me who are constantly in search of competitive games. Other than this, in 2V2 mode, two players compete against each other and test out their RTS gaming skills. In this mode, the last army standing wins. The final mode that you can choose is the Challenge mode. This challenge mode tests your skills in different ways. You are assigned various challenges that you need to complete to proceed. For example, you might have to face a wave of enemies to progress through some obstacles.
Stunning Vehicles
There are different types of vehicles that you can use in the Armor Clash 3 game. It renders several helicopters, jets, tanks, cars, ships that you can add in your army. You should keep it in mind that you can't win a game while focusing on your navy, air force, or military. To win the game, you need to stay balanced in all three departments of the game. The vehicle power is present on its top with a yellow bar. A fully emptied bar indicates that your vehicle is expired.
Exciting Game world and Maps
Armor Clash 3 doesn't contain a large variety of maps. There are only four locations in which you can play against your opponent, but all five maps are worth playing. Hometown, twin lakes, Railway, Desert strike, and Riverside, are some of the maps that you can select. Although there are fewer maps, still, the size of the maps is quite considerable in comparison to other RTS games. Each of the maps is different from others, which is a good thing. Every map demands a distinct approach from the user. You need to make a difficult technique to defeat your enemies in each of the maps, which makes this game quite interesting.
Overall Rating
Armor Clash 3 has got a mixed response from the critics. Many people are praising it while at the same time, some gamers are criticizing it due to lack of story and modes. From our perspective, the game is quite impressive and can give fierce competition to any other RTS game. I have played many other RTS games but have not seen that much variety of fighting options as in Armor Clash 3. For example, you can compete against your opponent on sea, land, or river, which is quite impressive stuff. So from my perspective, I will give this masterpiece. Other than this, I have seen different ratings about this game of different websites. For example, a popular Steam store has given Armor Clash 3 a rating of 7/10. While the Moddb site has rated it 6.2/10. Note that the rating criteria of these websites are quite simple. These sites collect the review from the player about the game and set the rating ratio. So if you are searching for RTS games, then I will recommend you to try Armor Clash 3 at least once, and we guarantee that you will surely love playing this game again and again. Rating: 8/10
Feb 2020 was the last update. Thats all you need to know.
Don't get fooled by the other positive reviews, this "game" is categorically bad. Pretty much what you see in the screenshots/trailer is the full extent of the game, very little depth into the combat, very few options for controlling your units and the AI is just...bad. If anything, it's more like a sandbox to play around. This game feels more like somebody's personal project, trying out things and learning about game development but what little there is here is definitely not worth any asking price.
This game had potential but is D.E.D dead, It hasnt received and update in years at this point. It was very much and early beta when I purchased it. The AI needed work as did the unit pathing and other features. So at this point this game is not a buy.
do not buy this game
...Love this game...old school, but nicely done...can't even imagine if a major studio or millionaire got behind this dude and a good crue...well done sir.
DO NOT BUY!!!!!! Poor UI. No options for keybinding. basically no controls besides mouse click and edge scrolling. The AI and path finding is the worst i've ever seen in an RTS. Skirmish and MP only, no campaign. the units and the buildings look great but thats all its got going for it. REFUND NOT GRANTED Such a shame, I high hopes for this one.
love this game
This game is really amazing and has a lot of potential. I just hope that this isn't all it can offer for the enjoyment of the game. I'm a huge fan of R.T.S. games and this really gives what i'm looking for. I have enjoyed playing all of C&C games, Warcraft, Supreme Commander, Age Of Empires, and many more. Aside maybe some kind of story line (probably don't need one) i was hoping to be able to do more in the game than just having more different kinds of units.
extremely boring, maps are way too small, not really any progression, no campaign, it's like the developers just released it and left it to die. concept is good but could be better
