Some of the best character writing I've seen in the medium, if Sony's studios are good at one thing it's making you empathize with protagonists that are well and truly cruel people. Only complaint is that they sacrifice the frequency of encounters in some chapters for the sake of story pacing, not necessarily a bad thing but when the combat feels as good as it does you wouldn't be faulted for leaving the game wishing there was more (but I guess that's why there's a Part 2).
The Last of Us Part I,

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 30: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

game with beautiful graphics in 4k, it almost looks like real life
muito bom
The Last of US.

Undoubtedly one of the best story telling in video games ever. I originally played tlou part 1 and 2 on my ps5 back in March and absolutely fell in love with the game and its rich story. I found it hard for me to put down this game when I started because it keep you not only entertained, but also invested in the emotional drive of this story. The dynamic of both Joel and Ellie is just so beautiful and a breath of fresh air. Playing this now on pc just highlighted my love for this game in ways I didn't expect. This and part 2 are my favorite games ever. Cant wait to replay part 2!!
kinda pissed that the OG game was ret-conned but still a fantastic game in many avenues. DO NOT WATCH THE SHOW!! thank you Bruce Staley and the NG team!! -remastering the original -renaming it to part I -ret-conning important story/char moments -folding in the ret-conned material to better fit it's part II sequel then presenting it as a 'faithful reconstruction' is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up so new players and people that didn't play the OG. they are not gonna understand and feel the same punch. the OG has absolutely S-tier story-telling, it doesn't get any better than TLOU1, but the gameplay, engine, animations etc is much much better in the remaster and makes the game one of the most visually pleasing games ever to grace the earth. what shoulda took me 5-6 hours to complete, took me 20+ hours. absolutely stunning, the attention to detail is absolutely insane, really insane how nothing new or mind-bending is being introduced but it's ability to really understand humanity, survival, connection, and most importantly, love. bonds unbreakable for best or worst. ellie, joel, tess, bill, henry&sam, marlene and even robert and david, what wonderfully written chars i bought a PS3 years and years ago just for this game, parts of it have been changed which I don't like, so it fits with the second game more which has a lot of problems of it's own so it ends up hurting this game, which sucks :( some examples are:
the hospital at the end is completely different, it's more visually sanitized and cleanly lit to evoke a competent medical facility the surgeon now wears clean trainers and white washed and swapped out for a caucasian man because god forbid audiences have to sympathize with abby and her father if they are not THE WHITE MAN. the heart-wrenching scenes of joel fighting off the firefly's to save ellie, all taken out to evoke big evil bad man joel was actually definitely bad guys don't question anything, jus bad man joel, okay guys? introducing a scene of joel 'evil staring' the surgeon to really cement the idea that you are the bad guy this visual retcon forced the player to accept that joel had denied ellie the choice AND denying humanity of a cure, destroying that delicate ambiguity that makes the ending such a powerful masterpiece.
what an experience tho, unforgettable, gustavo on that 6-string, the story-writing/dialogue, the environments and how the NPC's react, the blood effects and incredible textures and lightening is breath taking - i b jus standing still taking it all in at times, slow walking through the dingey abandoned tunnels. reading every note and exploring every corner of the environment... not just your avg rusty buildings and broken down cars, it's true art here nothing hits quite like TLOU1, it shows stories don't need insanely advanced or convoluted plots or chars, it can be kept simple but it's method of execution is how it all really comes together, it has to be one of the most realistic, dare I say "grounded" experiences I've went through and i LOVE it for that!! truly unforgettable, every gamer boy and gamer girl should experience such. big massive pat on the back for the developers at NG!! Bruce Straley never get's enough love as the druck as too much ego to allow Bruce and Amy Hennig to produce amazing stories and chars. the moral consequence of every survivors actions feel so incredibly real - nobody feels like a true 'villain' the whole concept of evil and bad becomes questioned when circumstances are so desperate and this powerful state feels so human, mammal and completely understandable which makes it so difficult and morally questionable, holding so much weight to the choices. *never forget druckmans initial pitch of TLOU which was a an uncomfortably cynical world where only the females of the world would be infected by the virus and the 'ALPHA MALE' main protagonist would gun down and mercilessly beat these women aka "infected". this ofc made the female staff members b like 'ehm this is just female physical abuse' and they binned the project thankfully!! but goes to show that druckman is someone that likes to steal writing credits and is not much of a writer himself* if the game was subject to the writers guild of american guidance then bruce would not have his name legally removed from the HBO series as it was his baby too, but neil and his overwhelming ego could not allow to anyone to share the same glory. this is troy bakers best performance for me, watching the behind the scenes and seeing how much both ashley johnson and troy brought life to joel and ellie, not only from the performance itself but some of the story adaptations and ideas they both brought to the chars, why it's so important to NOT have full directive freedom from 1 person as it takes a team to make something truly special like this. 2013 TLOU 10/10(weak engine, remarkable story) 2022 TLOU 9/10 (great engine, great story but ret-conned sadly)
