Developed by Shinji Mikami -- creator of the seminal Resident Evil series -- and the talented team at Tango Gameworks, The Evil Within embodies the meaning of pure survival horror. Highly-crafted environments, horrifying anxiety, and an intricate story are combined to create an immersive world that will bring you to the height of tension.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 9/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The main problem with The Evil Within is also one of its biggest strengths: the game is very linear and corridor-like. In some cases, a linear game is perfectly fine. Not every game has to be an open world or a semi-open world. But here, I'm gonna be honest: it's painfully linear, to the point where you don't feel like you have any freedom. So why did I mention that this linearity is also one of its biggest strengths? Well, for a simple reason that I realized even more after playing the second game, which is semi-open world and as a result isn't particularly scary: when you walk through narrow corridors, you don't know what the f*cking horrifying sh*t waiting for you around the next corner is. The Evil Within is a f*cking terrifying game. I'm not that easily scared nowadays, but this game uses a rather simple yet efficient formula: very, very, very scarce resources and ammunition, narrow and claustrophobic spaces, and scary bosses that can instakill you. This is the perfect recipe for a panic attack. Fortunately, the regular enemies don't instakill you, and you walk through slightly more open areas that give you a little break. Though ammunitions and healing stuff are still extremely scarce. But I did put this game on hold for a whole year, not only because of its boring linearity, but because I was sh*tting myself. And also for a third reason: I got a little frustrated for not understanding anything about the story at that point. The game is extremely mysterious and cryptic. You're not supposed to understand much during the first few hours; you progressively start putting the pieces together at some point. After I resumed playing, when I started figuring things out, I really wanted to reach the end because it was a very interesting universe, after all. The aesthetic is also very cool. But I'm not gonna lie, I didn't understand everything even after completing the game. I get why the game isn't among the highest-rated games on Steam, but honestly, if you're looking for some horrific mindf*ck, this is the game for you. If I remember correctly, it was advertised as a game made by former Resident Evil developers who didn't like how the series had moved toward a more action-oriented direction.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

baita jogo
The Evil Within está bien.
