helldiver but it actually respect your time instead of 500 warbonds slop and massive ego trip dev that think they know everything but only keep making the game worse
Such a beautiful and simple game, gameplay full of build variety that are all powerful against all factions, artstyle is endearing and stylized. Really thankful to Arrowhead for not desecrating such a unique pve game! Imagine if it had a sequel that tried to put itself above this as a complex tactical milsim with live service elements, guns that don't work because "realism" and most dreadful of all, being untested by its own developers leaving it littered with 50 bugs since launch of the game, that'd be a SHAME wouldn't it?
the only Arrowhead game i can recommend in good faith. genuinely fun, MO's are decided by players, the progression is fun and the gameplay is addictive (in a good way.) Stratagems and weapons are earned by playing all missions on a planet on different difficulties. There are no warbonds, and items in warbonds from HD2 are free. bugs are nonexistent. there are more enemies, more content, more fun. This is what Helldivers 2 should be.
Absolute blast to play, especially with friends. Compared to its sequel, which is constantly being sabotaged by Arrowhead, this game actually offers powerful weapons, mechs that don't instantly implode from the first rocket, stackable stratagems, non-tarded armor system, upgrade system for weapons/stratagems, no micro-transactions, constantly changing planets for variety, actual teamplay, short war campaign that restarts and many more. The only reason this game is not as popular is because it didn't receive millions of dollars in marketing. While the game is indeed not perfect, and has plenty of its own problems, it illustrates just how much Arrowhead ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up in game design department with sequel.
Played the game back at launch on Playstation for hundreds of hours and loved it to death. Replaying this game again a decade later it still holds up fantastically. I'd say the price is a little steep but I got it on a really big sale Player base is still active enough for your squad to fill up within 5 minutes of a mission at the time of review. Things that didn't carry over to the sequel shine bright, infinite reinforcements, medic/support roles, deeper cooperation, non changing balence and meta, ACTUAL EFFECT ON THE WAR EFFORT, bosses, powerful weapons (admitedly too powerful sometimes. The Trident eclipsing 90% of the primary arsenal) It's a real breath of fresh air. Grab some friends and have a blast
不要再去玩高压搜打撤了,这才是真正的搜打撤
"I have no money but i must spread democracy." Truly an underrated amazing game, i highly recommend. I'd buy the hd2 full democracy experience but the 46 cents in my wallet are barely holding themselves together. Thanks to my amazing friend for gifting me this game! 10/10
This was the superior Helldivers, because it had a unique COOP approach that demanded teamwork and synergy. The new one is play alone together style stuff. That being said, binding arbitration? Big nope there. It's one big screw job to consumers. It's very anti-consumer and the legal suppression is not welcome or wanted. It's novel you put in an opt out, but it's clear you made it as prohibitive as possible. Send in real mail, give you tons of personal information, a strict timeframe, it's hidden deep in your EULA? Not what I'd call "inviting" or "uplifting." What a shame what big companies have become. I used to play this game a lot on the playstation, I bought it on the PC later when I left consoles behind, but now corporate greed has claimed it. I'll just be moving on.
notice how this game has such a good positive review ratio, theirs a good reason to that because this has gotten to be one of the most in depth and detailed twin-stick shooter game in the whole genre, you are given the weapons and tools to fight off the massive armies that are the opposing factions in this starship trooper like universe, its funny and fun you are very powerful but just like what I would imagine in a real life scenario of war one little mistake and youre dead. Current AH dev team or whatever studio is stuck with the outsourcing task for hd2 pls learn from this games success and copy and paste dammit not like the 2nd games on a different engine lol
