Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10/day in the week to Jul 30 → 15.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Unfortunately, this wonderful lore-filled universe of TES is frustratingly greedy. I really enjoy the gameplay, world, quests, and class building, BUT.... every little thing is monetized: new story expansions expansion dungeons are sold separately from the expansion story loot crates a lot of player houses locked behind fomo limited time cash shop purchases instead of content to unlock new battle pass seasonal system dedicated material storage for crafting and probably more i haven't mentioned Even if you listen to lore videos/podcasts like me, its incredibly aggressive with greed that you feel nickel and dimed constantly. Sure the sub gives you cashshop currency every month, but its not a drop in the bucket. Love the world and game, hate the greed. Dont recommend... :(

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This is a hard one to write. After recent corporate decisions, I cannot urge people to purchase a game I have spent more than a real life year of my life in. I was planning on buying the latest tome. I was excited for the future. I was excited for what this game could become. Now? I don't see how it has a future, and you're honestly better off starting fresh with any other experience if you have the choice.
Slashing half the staff of the studio as the game is not only doing amazing, but having a large resurgance of players is basically Microsoft sabotaging this game. Content is being delayed, employees lives are in shambles, and those who are left are going to struggle to keep the quality and pacing that fans have been excited for. Cancelled my ESO Plus subscription and quit today. Sorry to the staff left at ZOS, but Microsoft's greed isn't something I can support.
Xbox WHY BROOO WHY!!!! This is such a great game then you have to go and GUT IT....... YOU HAVE OFFICIALLY KILLED IT THANKS ALOT.
After hearing of the staffing eliminations especially in the context of the move to seasonal content, I cannot recommend ESO anymore. What was positioned as a move to allow teams to be able to deep dive and deliver better content with less stress is now reeking of a move to eliminate employees so the remaining can do more work. It's a shame to see ZOS take such a hit thanks to Microsoft's decisions. I do not recommend putting money into this at this time.
1. This game is a gold-digger. Players without DLCs or a subscription are able to find Scryable antiquities or treasure maps that require a DLCs/subscription to actually unlock. The treasure maps can't even be sold to a shopkeeper for gold. The game floods your inventory with loot and then forces you to pay gold to increase your bag-space but subscribed users get twice the bag-space AND a crafting bag that holds all of your crafting resources. It slows the roll of players not paying extra by requiring players to more than double their tome-points just to unlock the next page of their tamriel tomes. 2. This game is badly balanced thanks to the players complaining in PVP. Every encounter in the game is either too easy or likely to kill you because of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanic that you were not warned an enemy had. Your character ends up terribly proportioned when it comes to skills because your skills don't level as fast as your character does and most of the skills aren't anything until you manage to max them out. Crafting skills are a nightmare because you have to constantly craft with the resources you've found to level them up and once you level up the crafting skill, the game will not just start giving you the higher-tier of resources in your home-town. You have to leave the place you learned where the best places were to gather what you needed in search of higher-leveled areas to find higher-tiered stuff, forcing you to stumble your way into unfamiliar territory. The higher the area you go to, the more players will be there and the likely-hood that another player will have collected the resource-nodes and loot-boxes, leaving nothing for you until both respawn which could be anywhere from an hour to three hours. 3. This game is Unstable on the best of days. You don't know when it's going to crash and when it does it takes the entire computer with it. There are graphical glitches with textures and models in-game even on higher-end systems. 4. Useless to Revive Reviving yourself on the spot with Soulgems is not worth it because bosses will reset their health if you're solo and if you're not you miss out on half of the fight because you're Ghostly form cannot interact in any way for a time. 5. Crime doesn't pay enough. The guards of any city you'd like to run around in and pick-pocket in know exactly where you are even if you're stealthed AND invisible. Every NPC has to be a part of a hive-mind because bounties don't go down when the witnesses die. And main-quests for the Dark Brotherhood always results in a higher bounty than the quest itself is worth. The key-bind for looting containers completely needs to be something other than the ultimate-activation key because turning into a werewolf in the middle of a city/town is a criminal offense even when done accidentally. I had a friend who was scrying for antiquities making more gold than a full-day of picking pockets and only selling the higher-tier baubles. TLDR Bottom-line: This game is grindy, unstable, and designed to push players toward spending money.
Unlimited solo and group content. Runs great on any system. Beautiful environments and world to explore. Highly recommend. Only downside is that a subscription is implicitly required to not suffer from missing out on some serious QoL.
A sterile wooden world. Combat is lifeless and the environments feel empty. The ui interface reflects the blandness of the game also. Most encounters are easy wins and pose no challenge. Story and voice acting are the only thing decent about the game.
♥♥♥♥ microsoft .
Let me start by thanking the wonderful and hard working people who made this game. I started playing way back at the beginning on Xbox, then just recently moved to playing it on PC. I truly enjoyed the Elder Scrolls world and lore. I will not support corporate greed, firing talented artists and replace them with AI slop. I hear the Lord British has control of the Ulitma series again....so maybe I will see you all in a new Ulitma game. **** you Microsoft. You will not break me.
