Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy

Damn shame we ain't gettin' a 2nd game.. Thay did soooo much right in this game it's crazy another 1 ain't in works ;(

Highly underrated. Far better than the James Gunn trilogy. A love letter to fans of cosmic Marvel, especially fans of Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning's era of cosmic Marvel. Absolutely nothing similar to the Avengers game. Highly recommended. 10/5.

This game is amazing. Pure cinema. It felt like playing through a 17+ hour TV series full of banter, emotion, adventure, and an unforgettable journey across the universe. The characters are incredibly well written, and by the end I genuinely felt like I had been along for the ride with the crew. I went in expecting a decent Marvel game and came out with one of my favorite gaming experiences in recent years. Funny, emotional, visually stunning, and surprisingly heartfelt. Some moments genuinely hit hard, and the relationships between the characters are what make this game special. I'm currently 17 hours in with only one chapter left, and despite buying it on a massive sale, I'm convinced I would have been happy paying much more for it. That's how much I've enjoyed the experience. A hidden Marvel gem and an absolute must-play.

*Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy* ------------------------------------------------------- Após a bomba feita pela Crystal Dynamics, Eidos-Montréal vem com os dois pés na porta e gritando: ''É assim que se faz um jogo bom''. Guardians of the Galaxy é extremamente divertido e imersivo do início ao fim, além de ser uma carta de amor aos fãs, tanto os dos quadrinhos quanto do UCM. Muita aventura, ambientação majestosa, dublagem impecável, personagens carismáticos e gameplay satisfatória Estamos no controle de Peter Quill (Star-Lord), o ''líder'' dos Guardiões da Galáxia (o líder mais desrespeitado de todos os tempos). O grupo é composto inicialmente por Peter, Gamora, Drax, Rocket Raccoon e Groot. Em uma missão que era para ser simples, o grupo acaba se metendo em uma sequência de eventos que ameaça toda a galáxia, se envolvendo em todo um plano maligno de uma espécie de seita religiosa extremamente poderosa. Além de toda essa ameaça, o grupo precisa lidar com seus conflitos pessoais e aprenderem a conviver e trabalhar em equipe, coisa que também está incluída nas ações e decisões que o jogador toma durante a gameplay. A trama é ótima, no mesmo nível e até melhor que alguns dos filmes (na minha opinião), além de ser super bem-humorada A gameplay tem ótimo equilíbrio de ação e narrativa. Como eu citei, controlamos apenas Peter Quill durante a campanha. Os demais Guardiões participam ativamente dos combates por meio de comandos especiais, permitindo a execução de habilidades que juntas se transformam em combos. Além da estratégia que precisa ser executada para enfrentar diferentes tipos de inimigos. Tudo isso cria um ritmo muito fluido e dinâmico nas batalhas. O combate mistura ataques à distância, movimentação e uso gradual de habilidades. Conforme avançamos na campanha, vamos desbloqueando novos poderes e melhorias tanto para o Peter quanto para os demais integrantes do grupo. Também temos a mecânica de "reunião da equipe" que durante as batalhas funciona como um minigame onde o jogador interpreta o estado emocional dos companheiros para fornecer a motivação adequada e receber buffs caso acerte A exploração dos cenários apresenta áreas relativamente lineares, mas recheadas de diálogos, colecionáveis, interações entre os personagens e alguns itens escondidos. Não mesmo kkkkk. Recomendo aguardar promoção. Overall, a really fun time and recommended if you can snag it on sale. While many people hated the story I thought is was pretty well done. The writing is very witty and I found myself laughing out loud at the various banter. The portrayal of each of the Guardians are pretty spot on (if not blatant copies of their MCU depictions). The length can get pretty tedious towards the end, but overall was well paced and enjoyable. 8/10

线性游戏的标杆。没有开放世界大地图，没有滥竽充数的支线任务，按照流程你会去到你该去的地方。如果你迷路了，你要做的就是打开面罩，找到发光物体并调查。玩游戏就是体验一段剧情，而漫威银河护卫队很好的满足了我的需求。我很轻松的度过了这二十多小时，剧情经典却不显俗套，你在游戏里的选择会让你有不一样的结果。

Crashes/freezes frequently and has and an unfixed progression bug very early in Chapter 1 (reload last checkpoint is at least a working workaround). On a positive note, the dialouges between the Guardians are very funny most of the time, but sadly often cut off early due to scripted mission triggers. The game has some very good original music (Star-Lord Band), but the gameplay is severely lacking in depth and feels tedious and boring after 1-2 hours. The story doesn't develop in a way that hooks me in enough to deal with the frequent game crashes and mediocre gameplay. Just watching the cutscenes on youtube and adding Star-Lord to your playlist is going to give you a much better, more condesend experience than actually playing the game.
