"Buy now and get all chapters" Once in game: here's at least 200 bucks worth of DLC's to buy, this is just blatant false advertising. Argue semantics with me all you want when the DLC's are not purchasable on steam I expect buying the expensive pack that says you get all of the expansions means I actually buy the full game. You can't even do the dungeons in some of the first levelling area's you go to because it's locked behind a paywall. The inventory system is a joke. Without the subscription this game basically feels like a free demo, even though I paid for it. Seriously if this is the "MMO that does everything right" then I totally get why they died. Do not spend money on this game, you need the subscription to even be able to play it and then everything in game worth anything is sold in the cash shop.
The storyline is meh, I'm pretty sure you're used to that from all Bethesda and Zenimax games. In comparison to other Elder Scrolls Online DLCs it's alright. Better than most, but still not particularily interesting. It also has some bugs, I had to restart one quest twice to finish it. Nonetheles, Necronom has two advantages: Decent environments that were pleasant to look at, and a new and quite fun class which feels like a proper "warlock" (and mixed with a warrior class, here called an arcanist) I haven't encountered for a long time. I think it's definitely worth getting the expansion as a B2P player, and as an ESO+ one it's worth trying out the new class. Overall, I am not disappointed and had an alright time playing this expansion, so if you're a TESO fan I think you should get it, but if you're new to TESO then you certainly should just try the basic version (the 5€ one) and then decide whether you want to spend more money on the game. Eventually I ended up buying expansions as I keep coming back despite not being a fan of MMOs, which this game is not really as it allows you to play the game single-player.

Spent $13.19 on Necrom, Story was super fun, Voice acting - Script writing were both exciting, Scruut #1. The biggest takeaway were the visuals. This DLC came with 2 new maps + the dungeons which were stylistically different! FOR THE PRICE, a new class with completely unique skills, real pvp utility, A fun main quest and great creative maps, endless lore and new companions.... You're kind of cooked if you complain. Don't think any MMORPG provides this amount of content so affordably - Its a great way to bolster up the playercount. Thanks for reading!
the dlc is just beautiful and nice storyline and feels great helping out Hermaeus Mora and I enjoyed the Arcanist class as well, too bad Necrom is required for Arcanist and I feel bad for those who had issues with the bugs that prevents the dlc to work for them as it should, I wish I could help them out but I'm no expert at troubleshooting, I was lucky that it works just fine on this pc despite how old it got
I am having a real issue with this DLC, and it is with the female character that you need to work with for the main quest. The story is ok but she talks to me like an elementary school teacher and I am still in first grade. Come on guys I am not six years old and I don't need so much hand holding, and I don't need the baby talk...............do you want milk with that cookie? Ok it's nap time...........nope! I got this Necrom DLC for 10 dollars and even that feels like I paid too much. I play it for a few hours and then I have to go several days before I can even touch it again. Yuck. I have to honestly say that anything created in ESO after the original 15 countries has been a failure. Just buy the base game and do Cadwell's Gold and you will have lots of fun.
If i hadn't bought this in a bundle i'd be mortified.. Story is atrociously horrific like something out of CBBC.. Now ESOs writing has always been fairly silly but fun. But this all really Really feels like its made for Kids under 10 years old. Class is great, its more leaned towards Defensive skills than attacks just with the amount of attack/defence abilities you unlock so i found it tad boring after awhile as a solo player. New Zone is decent lots of Lovecraft inspiration. Quests gameplay structure is fine mostly what you had been doing before in other ESO Quests. The story.. Jesus i haven't played something as bad as this writing in a game in a while and Never has it been worse in ESO than this, just from what i have experienced in the 6 or so years i'v been on this game Console and PC. Awful non inspired quests, very silly looking characters that constantly call you “Proxy” AFTER EVERY OTHER SENTENCE and Quest writing that feels like its written by a Kids Television producer. Seriously avoid it unless you personally enjoy watching Toddlers TV although even that is written clever or interesting or helpful for the kid watching. This is just Bad.
Gotta be one of the most boring dlc's, horrendous dialogue for a chapter, bugged quests (lmao), and the class is still having the same issues it had on release, would not have bought if it wasnt for the class
cool aesthetic, creepy monsters and dark fantasy
very good story chapters from what i have played so far
Definitivamente un juegazo digno para pasar el rato, tras 14 años juegando world of warcraft, elder scroll online tambien me ha sabido cautivar. lo recomiendo a tope.
