Reviews
So much potential just to be abandoned. No updates and still a buggy mess. No modding support, which is 90% of the reason you'd play Oblivion at all. Avoid what I did, don't buy would could have been. Play a different game.
I never played Oblivion, even though I was around back in the day upon release. I only really got into the series since Skyrim, and despite the negative review I am thoroughly enjoying the game :) I think it has a lot of charm, and I think the developers did well on the remaster! Of course, I haven't played the original, so take my review with a pinch of salt. It does of course have it's moments, where it can be a little buggy, but I haven't come across anything that is game breaking, or much more than a minor inconvenience/annoyance. My PC specs are quite high performance, as I have a 4080 GPU, 4TB of space, 36GB of RAM and a Ryzen 9 9950XX3D processor. So, that might be why it runs mostly fine. I have only had one crash as well, and I play unmodded :o Overall, it gives that classic Elder Scrolls vibe but with a few different mechanics, and story. Would Recommend!

It's an good old game, and now it has some fresh make up.
Yes. Definitely. Sure. Listen I don't review games on the day I buy them and just wait like a year before I post some review. I played the original when it came out and had a blast and oh yeah definitely gonna buy a remastered. :D
the graphics
I'm getting sub 30 FPS with everything on the lowest setting with a 4070 and it's unplayable. Enabling frame generation makes the image so muddy and glitchy that it's also unplayable. The graphics are glitchy and unpolished in general. It's been more than a year since release, so obviously they're not going to fix this. Even mods that supposedly help with performance do nothing,
Hella gang ♥♥♥♥.
Wow, I never played the original and this is amazing!
