The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard

i really wanted to love this, but it relies on DOSBOX, and even if you update DOSBOX to the latest version, or try modified dosbox builds, it doesnt matter, It drops to 8-18fps and stays at 8-18fps depending which area you are in. i hate dosbox, if the game had direct3D/DirectX support then i could use dgvoodoo2 which would mean 1000fps and 1440x1080 integer scaling but nope. Bad PC port. Bethesda never does anything cool or good for gamers. They could have patched this game in a single afternoon over at bethesda

Enjoying it a lot more than expected.... little janky but its a solid game. SAVE OFTEN it will crash

Could be a cool game but badly runs on modern pcs, unusable controles with instability issues, maybe will run better on an older pc.

based game, combat is kinda ass tho and the steam version crashes all the time

Buy it if you want another game for your collection and not need to actually play a game this old with no achievements.

Я абсолютно НЕНАВИЖУ в этой игре все. У меня не хватает слов, чтобы описать весь этот ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥, который происходил у меня во время прохождения этого говна. В начале стоит подметить, сам сюжет интересный, на несколько голов выше, чем в Арене и Бэттлспайере. Но вот реализация этой игрушки сатаны это, ♥♥♥♥♥, позор. Готовьтесь к тому, что консоль с логом о краше игры Вы будете видеть чаще, чем кого либо в мире. Управление с каким то ♥♥♥♥♥ ебучим дилеем (гг идет уже после того, как отпустил клавишу, и наоборот, когда он не идет при нажатой клавише), боевая система это просто ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Я не знаю кто делал эти данжи но это ♥♥♥♥ буквально ад. В стиме есть руководство о самых известных проблемах в этой игре. У меня из этих 3 ошибок возникли все 3, причем все они повторялись не один раз. Без преувеличения 2 с ♥♥♥♥ часа от моего прохождения ушло на то, что игра у меня крашилась от любого действия и приходилось идти обратно, ведь при попытке сохраниться, угадайте что? Правильно, игру к ♥♥♥♥ крашит. Короче, если вы адекватный человек, которому жалко своих нервов и времени я вас предупреждаю — не играйте в эту срань.

An Elder Scrolls game where you get to play as "Ladies' Man" Tim Meadows playing a pirate with a cool, talking cat friend! And that's where the fun stops, unfortunately. Controls were so bad and disorienting that I jumped off my ship and fed myself to a shark. I'm okay with this being where my hero's story ends.
