Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 27: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I liked and enjoyed this game a lot.
loved it, not perfect, but still a good game!
All I wanted was more of Karen Fukuhara, but we hardly see her at all.
Игра на -10 интро из 10 , (НЕ ПОНЯЛ КАК ИГРАТЬ В ИНТРО К СОЖ)-СТОИТ СВОИХ ДЕНЕГ РЕКОМЕНДУЮ!!!!!!!
An incredible space-horror experience, despite its terrible PC performance The Callisto Protocol is one of those games that I ended up loving despite some very serious technical problems. And the biggest problem is impossible to ignore: the PC performance was absolutely terrible, especially around launch. Striking Distance pushed Unreal Engine 4 extremely hard, and the result was a game with severe stuttering, inconsistent frame times and performance issues that could completely destroy the experience at times. No matter how much I like the game, that part deserves criticism. But once you look beyond the technical problems, I think The Callisto Protocol is an incredible game. This is what space horror should feel like to me. The atmosphere is oppressive from beginning to end. Black Iron Prison feels dirty, brutal, claustrophobic and hostile. The lighting, environmental design and sound constantly make you feel uncomfortable, and the game rarely gives you the impression that you are safe. Even when nothing is happening, there is always that feeling that something is waiting for you around the next corner. Visually, it is still one of the most impressive horror games I have played. Character models, facial animation, materials, blood, skin, clothing and environmental detail are outstanding. It is a great example of what Unreal Engine 4 could achieve when pushed almost to its absolute limit — although, ironically, pushing it that far was probably also part of the reason why the game suffered so badly technically. The sound design is equally important. Playing with good headphones completely transforms the experience. You hear metal moving around you, distant creatures, machinery, ventilation systems and noises coming from places you cannot see. It contributes enormously to the feeling of isolation. I also really enjoyed the combat, although I understand why it was divisive. The focus on close-range melee makes encounters feel physical and brutal in a way that most survival-horror games don’t. Dodging attacks, breaking limbs, combining melee with firearms and using the GRP to throw enemies into environmental hazards gives the combat its own personality. It is not Dead Space, and I actually think comparing them constantly did The Callisto Protocol a disservice. They share obvious influences and a similar setting, but Callisto has its own rhythm, combat system and identity. What makes it special for me is the combination of atmosphere, audiovisual presentation and sheer brutality. The game understands that horror in space is not just about putting monsters inside a spaceship or a prison. The environment itself needs to feel dangerous, oppressive and completely indifferent to whether you survive. And The Callisto Protocol absolutely achieves that. It has flaws. The performance was unacceptable, some combat encounters could be frustrating, and certain design decisions could have been handled better. But none of that changes how much I enjoyed it. For me, The Callisto Protocol is genuine space horror: dark, violent, oppressive and visually spectacular. Despite its technical problems, it remains one of my favourite modern horror games.
