The Abbey

Ci vorrebbe una via di mezzo tra sì e no come giudizio, ma opto per la prima perché The Abbey ha buone intenzioni e una realizzazione almeno parzialmente positiva. Poi è lento e con enigmi non entusiasmanti, ma non un cattivo gioco.

It is kind of mediocre and doesn't hold up to higher resolutions very well. The artwork, setting, and character models are great, they have a nice Disney film feel to it. The adventure aspect of it was a bit poor and obtuse though, still worth a few bucks.

Un pure merveille. Réalisation splendide, énigmes bien foutues, musique à tomber par terre, écriture prenante : l'un des meilleurs points and clics que j'ai fait !

A good mystery, however it is very very slow. The characters are interesting and you want to know what happens but you really need patience to get anywhere.

This is a game from the 2000s, so it has no hints/highlighting, it has a clunky inventory and the graphics may look a bit dated. Once you look past these, it's a decent title if you're P&C adventure games. It puzzles are not particularly challenging but they're logical. You'll get a few decent hours out of this.
