Travel the endless steps of a prodigious labyrinth, uncover the truth and unveil the mysteries of this fascinating universe where ancient languages are both the lock and the key.

Inspired by the myth of Babel, discover an enigmatic and vast tower. With a smart gameplay system, explore and solve various puzzles to uncover the mysteries of five different interconnected languages. Always guided by your trusty notebook, note each symbol, keep track of your surroundings, engage in conversations with people and unravel the meaning of every glyph. Each step will pave your way to the top of the Tower as each word will restore the link between People.

I have to start with a little premise: being graduated in foreign languages myself and a linguistics fanatic when I saw the game was basically becoming a Rosetta Stone aiming to unify 5 different populations I couldn't believe me eyes! This game, apart from the superb Mobius inspired visuals, is the big task of learning 5 languages and make everyone understandable to the other. To do this, you'll have to survive many stealth sessions (annoying, but not too hard luckily) and you'll have to squeeze your brain quite enough, because it's not that easy to be honest. But the satisfaction of finally making the world-tower better and being the grand unifier.. is sincerely great. Also, the music score is always on point and makes your travels a dream journey. If like me you like linguistics and languages and don't mind some stealth.. here you will find a pure gem, something that today is very needed and very meaningful. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3754858799

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

En Taro Sennaar!
Fantastic puzzle game. Highly recommend giving it a go even if it's not your usual play style. The 'tower of babel' style language puzzles, memory games and strategic thinking really make this game shine. With a wholesome and complete story to go with it. However, if you don't like running around like a hamster trying to find a clue, don't play this game. You'll feel like a headless chook at least once during your time in the tower.
i would def recommend this game, although i had a few issues. spoiler free review with a couple of general tips. it took me 20 hours to do everything but i'm slow, so i'd trust other reviews more for playtime. i was determined to beat it without a walkthrough and spent an embarrassing amount of endgame play time searching for a couple of hidden things that i just kept walking right by. and i just kept getting lost in the sewers! warning: do not rely too much on holding shift to show interactable things. they have a few cleverly hidden areas/things to interact with. meanwhile the actual language translation was not too hard, because the "languages" are just pictographs. it was still fun to solve it, and i probably would've struggled with something truly linguistically complex. the most cool part, both story wise and puzzle wise, is the goal to learn multiple languages and translate between them. to me, this justifies how simple each language is. a couple times, i correctly guessed the word meanings, but then struggled to guess which journal picture corresponded to which word. i found this mildly annoying, but it honestly became funny that i was that bad at it. if you have my same problem, you don't actually need the journal solution to progress! just go back to it later if you're really confused. the game's story is about helping different groups communicate and resolve issues. i saw it as more metaphorical than trying to address real international relations. it's simple, but quite hopeful and uplifting. however, not all of the problems were due to translation issues, and knowing how some of these people canonically treated each other, it feels odd that things wrap up so neatly without any hurt feelings. i would've preferred a happy but more realistic ending.
Chants of Sennaar

10-15+ hours to complete, Chants of Sennaar is essentially just a giant logic puzzle loosely based off the Tower of Babel, where each civilization on the tower’s floors speaks a completely different language and you’ve got to translate and decipher each one to figure out what it is you are supposed to be doing to get to the top of it. While this may sound like a complicated game, it’s not terrible as the character is smarter than the player and gives you confirmation when you are correct, so in the worst case scenario you can brute force your way through the puzzles. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3764912941 While the deciphering part of the game is quite fun, there really isn’t anything else going on to keep your focus and attention. I accidentally forgot about this game for mayhaps a week before remembering it was something I was doing, before going back to finish it. The story wasn’t my favorite, while I liked the puzzles to get the true ending, the actual ending in question left me with a lot of confusion. There are a lot of positive reviews saying how wonderful the storyline was, which feels kinda crazy to me as I felt like I only understood half of what was happening or why it was even important to do in the first place. It’s a fine game with nothing in particular about it I disliked, so play it if you want, I guess. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3775814883
If you liked this review and want to read about similar games or just support me on my journey of playing my entire Steam backlog, you can join my curator group, Rune's Reviews! Have a nice day!
