Spitkiss

Short precision platformer that takes about 1-2 hours to beat. The game was clearly made for mobile first and later ported to PC which explains why most of the screen is covered with black bars. At least the gameplay itself is alright. If you want to get a quick 100% completion it does the trick.

Detalles como los emojis y la forma de narrar la historia con páginas tipo cómic hacen que la recompensa/meta sea muy satisfactoria, sumando al buen gameplay que tiene. No puedo dejar de mencionar su inspiración en Celeste en lo que a diseño de niveles se refiere. Me encantó! ENG: Amazing how Splitkiss manages to make a precision platformer based on bodily fluids extremely adorable. Details like the emojis and the way the story is told with comic-like pages make the reward/goal very satisfying, adding to the good gameplay. Also have to mention its Celeste-inspired level design. I loved it!

The game mechanics are terrible, it is extremely short and doesn't present a challenge. Maybe designed as a mobile game. On top of all that there are some disgusting things. They patched up all sorts of woke themes, put some barebones mechanics and made a "game" Do not waste your money on this trash

[h2]Sinopsis[/h2] SpitKiss es un juego arcade de plataformas de precisión, el cual nos plantea un divertido mundo donde el amor y los sentimientos se comunican a base de escupitajos. En SpitKiss viviremos una romántica historia, donde dos hombres tratarán de ganarse el corazón de una mujer mediante un incesante intercambio de fluidos corporales que deberán salvar (literalmente) multitud de obstáculos. [h2]Jugabilidad / Apartado técnico[/h2] SpitKiss se divide en 80 niveles, que a su vez se reparten en capítulos donde iremos descubriendo la historia de amor a través de viñetas de comics. La mecánica básica de este juego consiste en conectar los dos personajes implicados mediante un escupitajo, que deberá ir rebotando entre paredes, esquivando pinchos o enemigos, activando mecanismos y plataformas para poder recorrer los intrincados escenarios. Cada vez que choquemos contra una superficie el escupitajo resbalará, teniendo una ventana de tiempo limitada para realizar el siguiente salto, lo cual requiere precisión y reflejos. Conforme el juego va avanzando, los niveles se irán complicando, añadiendo nuevas mecánicas y escenarios más difíciles que requerirán multitud de precisos saltos para superarlos. Una vez completemos la historia principal podremos volver a superar el juego añadiendo retos extra, como esquivar un fantasma que irá a por nosotros o conseguir 3 corazones repartidos por el escenario. [h2]Valoración[/h2] SpitKiss ofrece un juego sencillo de jugar, pero complicado de dominar, especialmente si queremos superar los retos postjuego, los cuales pueden resultar realmente frustrantes y difíciles, añadiendo un desafío la mar de interesante. Gráficamente el juego luce genial y ofrece un buen rato de entretenimiento, con muchos niveles desafiantes y rápidos de jugar, excelente si no tenemos mucho tiempo y nos gustan los juegos de plataformas. La historia no tiene gran peso en el juego, simplemente es una excusa para justificar el gameplay, pero resulta divertida de descubrir. Completar el juego básico puede llevarnos entre 1-2 horas, aunque este tiempo puede extenderse con creces si decidimos ir a por los retos extra. My personal feelings about the subject matter of this game aside, the actual game is easy to get into and fun to play, only struggling a little bit on the more frantic levels. You have to control your spit by flinging it in different directions off of walls or obstacles. There are some extra hard levels after finishing the game and you can "replay" the game again collecting some extra things in each level which increase the difficulty (though there are no achievements for that). There, the controls start to lose their luster because you actually need to be on point with your timing and precise, which often doesn't work very well because this is a game primarily designed for touchscreens. The story is cute enough, though I don't think the facets of Polyamory can be handled with enough nuance to cram it into a short one hour game without leaving some important aspects aside. Ignoring that background story, though, Spitkiss is fun enough for one playthrough and left me satisfied, though I recommend getting it on a sale.

Spitkiss is a platformer game with an interesting mechanic where you have to make two characters kissing by throwing spit across an entire level. You can walljump throughout the entire game and as time goes on, more mechanics are added. The music is good even though it's repetitive, the comic is cute and the story is alright. The graphics are also pretty to look at. What really annoyed me however is that the controls feel wonky and that's... the worst thing that can happen in a platforming game. They feel delayed and sometimes you try to line your spit with a wall and it doesn't want to give you a proper line of sight, causing you to fall and die. As I got better with knowing the game limitations and exaggerating my aim to make sure I'd have line to sight it helped, but I feel like the game could have better fluidly. Also, it's quite obviously a phone game ported to PC. Lastly, the game is quite short, I finished it in an hour. I almost bad tripped at the end when I noticed I didn't get the single achievement in the game, causing me to waste 5-10 additional minutes on the forums to find what's wrong with that and it turns out I just had to close the game. Never had a notification that I got the achievement both in-game or after closing the game, but it's there... Overall, not a very positive recommendation, but a fun platformer nonetheless.

A medida que avanzamos en la historia se van añadiendo mecánicas con una curva de dificultad muy acertada. Controles fluidos. Gracias a eso algunos mapas pueden llegar a ser difíciles y requieran algo de tiempo. Considero que algunos pueden llegar a ser un pequeño desafío y eso es lo que engancha de [b]Spitkiss[/b].
