Tesla Force

It's a fun game, however it was abandoned a bit after launch with no explanation and thus has teasers for features, endless mode and tier ? weapons that will likely never be added so keep that in mind when deciding to buy it.

Do not buy this game! Was in Early Access, slapped 1.0 and made one more update/bug fix and then abandon the game. The end game loop is not there, and the last tier of weapons is not implemented. Sadly I found out this too late and I can not refund it. It is sad becasue I liked the first game, but you can feel that the game needed som more polish and it would had been just as great.

Tesla Force is a roguelite top-down shooter game. First of all, the game isn't meant to be rushed, but I did manage to get past through the entire game in 3 hours. For a game this expensive I would've expected a lot more content, Tesla vs Lovecraft (the game I would suggest to play over this one) lasting me more than double the amount of time! There are cycles and upgrades to grind the game further, but knowing it will be the same re-used content it just makes it somewhat meh. Now in general I wouldn't have given it a negative review because I hold 10tons games close to heart, but this one was a deception to me. I really thought there would be far more content and a lot less bugs (no, not the monsters). First of all, the game is extremely RNG dependant. In one run I got a BFG and annihilated any monsters on screen all the way to the boss, in my final run I was stuck with an underpowered close-range shotgun against the final boss of the game, which I got in the level right before the boss (I was stuck with an Ion pistol before that.) As for the bugs, well maybe an oversight but half the time I don't know what stuff does. Hovering your mouse over icons should give you some explanation and having to go through 'Character menu' every time is annoying. The most OBNOXIOUS bug is the teleport that randomly starts working! Perhaps this wouldn't be an issue with good RNG, but I lost an entire run right before the boss because my teleport ability randomly stopped working for an ENTIRE MINUTE. This is unforgivable in a game that ends your 20 minutes long run when you die, especially since some monsters almost 2-3 shots you with 120 HP! Ranting done, the graphics are on par with all other similar games, so nothing to say about that. The music was alright, it's definitely not on Neon Chrome's level, but it's not bad. The sound effects were OK. The gameplay in itself is fun, but the game is too short, too repetitive, feels unpolished, is buggy, unbalanced and too RNG dependant. Overall, worth playing if you get it really cheap, or just purchase Tesla vs Lovecraft instead.

Батарейки, альтернативное оружие и местную валюту, нужную для усиления протагониста/протагонистки (кроме Тесла для разнообразия добавили одного учёного Марию Кюри и двух писателей) после смерти, можно найти на аренках пути. Вроде всё. Остальное типа телепорта, робота, разных усилителей и толп хтонических чудовищ уже было в основополагающем произведении. Get's better the more you play it. Characters are cool. Upgrades are powerful, and the weapons are fun. Good game. Well worth your time.

I grew up playing Smash TV at the local arcade, so i may be biased when i say i really like this game. It's a twin stick shooter with all of the carnage and fun inherent to such games. Are there bad sides? Dunno, i haven't found any. So, to summarize, if you like twinstick shooters, this one will delight you. If you don't, you could still have fun playing it.

It's a cute little mini game and pretty identical to the game "Tesla Vs Lovecraft".. don't expect a revolution, it's a rogue like twinstick shooter with bare mechanics, few different characters, weapons, enemies and bosses mostly the samish stages in a questionable Lovecraft setting. There is no real story but also not that necessary for this type of game. Diff is also really easy.. mostly you just replay until the weapon rng drops are good and then snacking those enemies easily. It's really just a little game easy to 100% Runs well on Deck 05/10
