About
You remember 2024. So do we.
Ghosts of Tabor: Legacy is the 2024 version of the game, preserved for the players who were there for it. The maps you mastered. The feel you remember. This is your raid, the way it used to feel.
A hardcore, VR-only extraction survival shooter where your wits and whatever you can carry keep you alive. Scavenge for gear, weapons, ammo and supplies, then fight your way out with your loot intact. PvPvE. Squad up or go it alone. Reaching extraction is all that counts.
Old Island in its original form. The Hex Bunker. Silo. Matka Miest and its streets. The ground a generation of raiders cut their teeth on, right where you left it.
Exactly as they ran in 2024:
Backpacks with item collision: physical bags where every item takes up real space.
Neck snapping: the close-quarters takedown the way it played back then.
NPC behavior: the AI you learned to read, flank, and outsmart.
Damage system: the original time-to-kill and damage model.
Legacy will be maintained but will not receive new content. No new maps, no reworks. It's a snapshot of a moment in time, held there for the players who want to step back into it any time.
Welcome back to Tabor. It's just like you left it.

Great game, terrible way to treat the people supporting it I really wanted to leave a positive review because Legacy itself is exactly what I wanted. It feels like old Tabor again. The music, atmosphere, bunker, progression, weapons and maps all bring back the 2024 version that a lot of us missed. My friends and I were having a great time and planned on making this our main game again. The problem is the developers apparently have no intention of fixing serious bugs or exploits. I am not asking for new content, new weapons, balance changes or modern Tabor features. I understand that it is supposed to be a time capsule. But being a time capsule should not mean leaving game-breaking exploits untouched forever. We already ran into someone on Silo abusing the map and shooting through walls from an area where they could apparently see underneath the map. There are also holes in other maps that let players see people through geometry. This is an extraction shooter where you can lose an entire kit when you die. An exploit like that completely ruins the game. Your armor, positioning and awareness mean nothing when someone can shoot you through a solid wall. I also crashed while loading into a raid. When I tried to reconnect, the game loaded me into a completely black screen. That was apparently an old PCVR bug that got fixed in a later version, but it is back in Legacy. There have also been problems with the friends and squad system. The store page says Legacy will be “maintained” but will not receive new content. Most people are going to read that and assume critical bugs, crashes and exploits will still be fixed. That does not seem to be the actual policy. In the official Discord, Scott has said there will be no bug fixes because it is a time capsule. He has said they are not supporting Legacy “in any form or fashion” and that something will only be fixed if it completely stops people from playing or squadding up. When somebody told him about a large hole in the map that lets people see players near Labs, he replied, “I legit dont care.” That should be clearly stated on the store page before people buy the game. Players should not have to join the Discord and search through messages to discover that crashes, broken reconnects and game-breaking map exploits may never be fixed. Saying the game will be maintained gives people a completely different impression. The way Scott talks to the community is also unacceptable. I have seen him call players idiot children and little morons, insult people for being sensitive, joke about their parents abusing them and threaten to ban Discord and game accounts because people were annoying him. I understand that players can be stupid, rude and repetitive. That happens in every game community. That is what moderators, warnings, mutes and bans are for. The owner of the studio should not be personally insulting and humiliating paying customers in the official Discord. The worst part is that I actually love Legacy. I do not want a refund. I want the game to stay alive. But it will not survive if people are allowed to abuse map exploits while the studio openly says it does not care. Fixing holes in the map, crashes, broken reconnects and major multiplayer issues would not ruin the time capsule. It would let people actually enjoy it. Legacy itself is great. The way it is being handled is not.

Nostalgia is cool and all, but this should not exist. Bad business practice feeding off nostalgia to garner funding whilst splitting the already dwindling player base and turning them against each other. I've been a die hard player since half these mfs were in their daddy's balls atp. I've made disgusting amounts of money off this game and built a strong core community/fanbase. for that I am eternally grateful as it is a start to a long career. This game made me, I will love it forever, and the devs always have my respect for building something beautiful within the scene. But I simply feel gross. scummy developers selling an older version of a game i already payed for, no thanks!
Nostalgiaslop. Don't buy. This game is a cashgrab made by greedy devs who don't care abt their game.
Scott can go kill himself I'm getting my refund. speaking of killing you should google "Scott Albright Murder" maybe we can get a Cameron Pearson memorial in the game.
Good game, only buy if you played when this version was out ig. To all of the people hating on cws, YOU ASKED FOR THIS. They did not wanna release this game. Yall even messaged scotts mom on facebook. yall are weird to hate on this. its not a "cash grab" servers are SO expensive to run. If you dont like it DONT BUY IT
Fix pixel density is horrible and FPS needs to be fixed in regular Tabor I get around 240fps and in Legacy I get 72fps with the same settings. and for gameplay I can hardly move without something moving me without stick drift. But an awesome and nostalgic game all together. It was nice to get all DLC's too. Too bad their too lazy to make bug fixes for "Nostalgia" purposes.
I think the charm of old tabor was that everyone was on an even playing field skill wise. I want to like this old version it just doesn't feel the same. I understand why they are not fixing bugs, but at the same time the game is borderline unplayable due to the amount of exploiters and game-breaking bugs. This is just a giant cash grab
this game is a buggy unpolished money grab unlike other of cb studios poorly made games, they went all out max effort and picked the buggiest and most unusable versions of 2024 scott is a horrible person and a murderer and made it so u have to boot up the game 20 times just to get one lick of a raid before joe schmoe pulls up and shoots u through the ground and steals all ur hard earned stuff overall dont buy this cash grab unpolished slop game and play exfilzone instead ♥♥♥♥ you William Albright
Bought this game to play it, in the 30 minutes I played it for it was just open game, infinite load screen on the tutorial, crash. open game, load into tutorial, go to bunker, load raid, crash. open, load, crash on join. i loaded into an island got like 3 minutes off of spawn then it froze and crashed again. absolutely insane that the quest standalone version is in a better space than the pc one with much more powerful hardware. if this is the state of which this game is shipped then no, wouldnt recommend. if this is what passed as acceptable nah.
