Left it for exactly 1 year. To see if it was any better. Both tutorials attempted crashed. So.. no better.
This game had big potential but unfortunately a little idea from devs of how it should be played by the end users. As a result it's a series of clicks on the terminal that gives very little explanation of the outcome. The army component is totally unnecessary as it plays no important role. The weakest game design are the 5 stats / attributes that you constantly need to monitor otherwise you will lose a game. The hilarious thing is that if they get too high, you lose, if they get too low, you lose too. It's no fun as it diverts your attention from the real game (which is already very thin).
I enjoy playing this game
Heavily Bugged / Crashes unexpectedly
Feels unfinished. The home menu and the transition screens are cluttered and weird. The narrator robot thing is painfully unfunny and leads to awkward, unnecessary dialogue prompts. Why is it even in the game? The actual game mechanics are pretty boring and the only reason I was able to power through and play even as little as I did was because of the cold war setting. Sorry :(
what a weird game
it fulfills a specific niche, if you played DEFCON then you have an idea what that niche is. its also in a unique position to touch into the play of another game called Twilight Struggle which i would more relate to it then DEFCON the difference mainly being that their are units, like DEFCON.
