Absolutly amazing game, 10/10 worth it
VERY GOOD VERY FUN
Perfect mix of all the games I love playing. Great job building a quest line that is required to progress in the game while simultaneously allowing each player to accomplish the goals in their own way.
This was a surprise hit for me, I'm really enjoying it. It's most like Satisfactory, but it has better combat and far more enemies, and you can build defenses like in factorio. Every so often the local star goes supernova and burns the entire planet to a crisp, including you (but luckily not your goods or buildings), and after these waves there's a few minutes where you can gather unique resources that only appear in the scorched period that are used to upgrade your structures, which adds a cool twist. An important difference to people who enjoy automation games is that buildings operate on a pull system, meaning buildings request resources, rather than a push system like factorio and satisfactory have where buildings just keep spitting out items as long as they have enough inputs to make them. This actually has quite a big impact on your factory planning. One thing I'm less hyped about is the recipe system, where you have to discover recipes in ruined bases that are covered by bugs. It's good that the player has a motivation to go there, but it can be frustrating when you don't have a recipe you need because you just haven't stumbled across the base where you can find it.
I like it. I mean it is slightly barren but the atmosphere is amazing. it has a good gun system for shooting and I LOVE the hourly global event. As more content comes and hopefully different disasters it will only improve. One thing I LOVE is watching the world slowly rebuild every hour. Like you can stare at the ground in 1 spot and slowly watch it change from apocolypse to apocolypse. It isnt in chunks. it is a slow legit visual transformation you can watch. Love love love those details REALLY looking forward to more building and structure design. I hope they go all in on letting us make cool bases as well as perhaps have the rupture change or get stronger / more dangerous / random timings as we move through the game progression
I returned it. I got bored within the first 30 minutes. It ran smoothly on my ancient puter. But, just not the "it" game I hoped it would be. I'd give it a rating of "meh".
