Very slow story. I put about 5 hours and still struggled with finding a reason to care about the big starter event. The inventory UI is horrendous - it only allows you to view and sort one item attribute at a time. Want to compare item price, damage, and weight to decide what to sell? Well guess what. You need a mod for that. This game felt more like work than recreation. Waste of money. Not even worth it on sale.
What a terrible game. I’d recommend skipping this 100%. The game is riddled with bugs which for most Bethesda games are fine but they have an excellent story to make up for it. This is just a lifeless mess with too many loading screens. Watching paint dry is more engaging.
I returned to Starfield excited about the Free Lanes update after the miserable launch years ago, only to encounter a game-breaking bug that makes The Eye continually move away not allowing me to dock and completely blocks the main quest. I had no Creations installed when the bug started, and it persisted even after reloading older saves. Bethesda support provided no solution or offer of support. A game that may require console commands or mods just to continue its main quest line is not something I can recommend to anyone.
This could be free and I'd still want my money back. It's not so bad that it's funny, nor is it captivating. It's empty nothing- and as a GAME experience it has the responsibility to make space fun. I'm not paying nearly 50 quid for a space simulator, I am paying for a bethesda RPG.
Not giving me hope for future Bethesda games...
It's a very bland, soulless experience. None of the characters are interesting and the dialogue will bore you to death. NPC's are mostly women and everybody is gay so I'm not sure how they reproduce in this universe. It just feels like a chat gpt story with tons of DEI and no love or talent went into making this game. The graphics are good in some ways and cartoonish in others. There are no interesting planets or cities or landscapes and nothing worth exploring. Ship customization is probably the coolest thing about the game, but it also feels kinda pointless. Not sure what else to say, I give it 5/10
породу e6ал этих файтов на кораблях и того кто их придумал 6лядскaя игра от пидapacoв, я терпел, но это просто невозможно, не берите это дepьмо даже под дулом пистолета
It still sucks. Shame on Bethesda for still not improving the game to a decent degree.
Boring menu simulator essentially. Characters are flat and lifeless and there is no sense of any agency or visible effect you as the player character have in-universe really, nor really do you care because the universe is boring as ♥♥♥♥ too.
