Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About
Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Xbox, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Reviews
I am leaving this review here so future me doesn't forget what this game is like. If future me is reading this, you're here again because, total war looks really fun to play, I get that. What you're forgetting is how little base game provides. Everything is locked under dlc. I know you don't like dlcs, it's like receiving a chair without the legs and you have to pay extras. Don't buy the chair with no legs.
When their servers go down you lose access to multiplayer and DLCs (even in single player), makes me wonder how long I'll be allowed to play the $200 game before they stop supporting it with their servers.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best UK #75, worst UA #100 · 9 markets collected
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Get this game on the current December sale - 75% off for 12.5 dollars. For future readers, get this game at max 20 dollars and only if you like the races. You will also get Total War Warhammer 3 big campaign map FREE with this purchase. This game is not worth more than 20 dollars. Only DLC that is rated Very Positive and above is worth getting at a max of 7 dollars. It is not worth getting anything for more unless you are truly in love with the complete package (like I was for chaos dwarves) Heed me, and Sigmar will be pleased Don't, and nothing bad will happen. But you may feel buyers' remorse.
lets give the customer 2 lords from each race and then over the next few years charge them 30$ for each additional lord turning a 59.99 game into a 200$+ game.
Wanted to play some immortal empires with older mods, which arent in WH3, turns out there are no more immortal empires in wh2 and to play mortal empires i need wh1, what is this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥???
The ancient gamer here; 78 years old and I build PCs and play games with our grandsons. I love the warhammer series, own all Total War titles 1,2,3. If you like fantasy strategy games with solid storylines, and great graphics, you can't go wrong with WH games.
I guess it's a pretty good game. It kept me coming back and playing little more.
after 900+ hours all my existing campaigns are wiped and I can no longer access my DLC despite having paid for them all. when you go in it says you need to be online to access DLC. reinstalling, and verifying game files does not help.
The game is broken - doesn't recognize DLC that I own, doesn't let me play Mortal empires. Don't buy anything until they fix it.
