Starfield is the first new universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 15.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Xbox, PlayStation publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

played odyssey list, no clue what vanilla is like + good writing + MSQ was very good + UC Vanguard was amazing + Freestar was a good story + liked the skills + liked most of the cities + ships were pretty cool - didnt like itemization - performance was horrendous - ui/ux was not great (pressing tab multiple times, slow menus) - didnt really like most of the planets - quest structure was too samey ( talk to a guy to get something, that guy wants you to get him something in return) - persuasion check for the final quest is a stupid idea
I went into this knowing the main quest line is boring. I just wanted to finish the Crimson Fleet quest line and even that is bugged. After almost 3 years I expected the game's best quest line to work at least. Also, there is no film grain in the 2300's so why is it on by default?

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

i'm having an absolute blast!!! I waited to pick up Starfield due to all the hate. I've had so much fun so far. Maybe thing will get redundant at 400 hours, I'm sure i'll have some complaints by then... but i will have gotten my money's worth by then. It's an incredible deal for $50 and if you get it on sale, even better. Don't listen to the hate. Make your own decisions and opinions
really tried to like this game when I first got it but never really enjoyed playing it. recently figured I'd give it another try but in the two hours I just played it I remember all the reasons I didnt like it before. loading screen after loading screen, boring areas, poor looting, boring hud, unremovable healthbars on enemey, everythings a bullet sponge and horrible space combat. I loved the fallout games and enjoyed skyrim but as for starfield... bassically any other space game is better. very disapointing.
Almost 400 hours and, after all this, I'm not mad. Just really, really disappointed. Starfield is a game of wasted potential and it becomes painful to play when you realize you're just running around in a husk of something that could have been truly amazing. Starfield shot for the moon, missed, and instead of landing amongst the stars, it crashed back to Earth leaving us with what remained.
It sucks to leave a negative review as I am excited for the Elder Scrolls 6 and I hope Bethesda improves but so little has changed in 3 years since launch. It took 2 years to get a land rover. My biggest gripes with the game have not been addressed: - Loading screens galore - No RPG choice - Fragmented space and land sections - Terrible space and land combat - Creepy NPCs and little interaction with them - Missions that start out interesting but land with a thud - Generally uninteresting setting and story (the game really needed aliens) I just think there are games that do space exploration, RPG stuff and space combat much better. No Man's Sky does everything except combat better and if I want good space combat I would play Jump Space. It is good that the price dropped for this game, but I can't say I remembered any of my time with the game that would make it worth it.
Bethesda trash
It's pretty fun. Not like other Bethesda games, but still pretty fun.
absolute dog pile of a game, wont even run, just stutters and crashes on main menu. I've tried everything to fix it, im playing with Zero mods, i have reinstalled windows, i have cleared cashes, verified files, uninstalled reinstalled the game, ive checked and verified system files, ive done everything else i can think of and this game simply just wont run. Very cool.
