Starfield is the first new universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 15.71/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've played all the Bethesda games (post-Morrowind). Fallout 3/New Vegas/Oblivion on Xbox 360 back in the day. Skyrim/Remastered on multiple platforms, Fallout 4, 76 and Oblivion Remastered on PC and honestly, this matches up. I would say you need to play this game slightly differently i.e. try to immerse yourself in certain sections and look up the worthy side quests before hand. Also fiddle with the settings i.e. put on extreme enemy damage, but very easy player damage, makes it more tactical. You can also add stuff like hunger/thirst which helps. I enjoyed the story, builds, looting, weapons, even ship building and space combat which isn't my usual cup of tea. Outpost building isn't my cup of tea, but at least its there for those that like that stuff. I do think there are some strange design choices and clunky menus/UI interfaces, but nothing mods can't fix. Oh yeah, make sure you check them out, I think one of the versions of the game gives you a load of mod credits + all DLC so get that on a sale if you don't want to pay full price. Also check out the free mods on Nexus - STARUI is a game changer. Would highly recommend. I am going to continue playing for a long while to try and 100% everything including achievements.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 24: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

太空版辐射,预购的冤大头
This game really isn't bad. It's easily on par with Fallout 4, if not better. There are even certain areas where it excels beyond all other Bethesda titles but overall it still lags behind. I suggest pushing the main story through to the end asap before spending too much time on side content, but it still works no matter what route you take. There's a lot of good here and despite how low my expectations were from all the negative reviews I still found this to be a great game. Bethesda's "worst game" is still a pretty solid 7/10 game and nobody builds worlds quite like they do. I put about 10 hours in, didn't touch it again for years, but finally decided to give it another go. This time after about 10 or so hours I was hooked and played every day that I could until I finished the main story and faction quests.
The barebones of this game is great it's just a shame it suffers from Bethesda's writing and bugs. I think the early game is actually more compelling and interesting than the later game where the main quest drops the ball super hard and becomes an incredibly boring excuse to shove you into NG+ as it felt like they pivoted from their original idea super hard into what the main quest ended up being. Another case of "good idea, not great execution" from Bethesda but fun enough to recommend playing playing and buying. But maybe when it's on deep discount.
I get the hate, but I enjoyed it up to where I stopped playing. Its...fine. Mods make it shine.
