Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 12 → 0.33/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Some mouth breathing financial suit thought that it was a good a idea to have the Endor DLC mission exclusive to consoles, despite the first game having all DLC with its special addition on PC. Throw 'em into the Sarlacc pit.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The cutscenes don't work. It just skips them automatically. Sure you can watch them on YouTube or something but that takes away from the immersion and you need to know when to play/watch them.
The thumbs down is mostly for the awful PC port; it really broke the immersion of my playtime. Crashes, freezes, glitches, screen tearing (which I couldn't solve no matter how I tried), after some time cutscenes didn't play (might help you if you set WMP as default, or at the beginning of the final mission, I had to play it in border mode to start to play it, because it just repeated the first 15 seconds), so I have had a large variety of technical issues. Should/could have been fixed and patched by now... Well, I read a bit about the chaotic development of the game, the director stepped down two months before the release, there was a big financial problem at Lucasarts during those times, etc., unfortunately. Speaking about the game itself and comparing it to the first one, I would definitely say the previous episode is way better in almost everything. And that's my opinion about the whole game basically, it wanted to be ambitious, there are some cool and epic scenes, but it's too short, the story techically is a placeholder, no new real gameplay mechanics, it operates from mostly reused elements, barely any interesting enemy types, one new planet, the boss fights are mostly boring, and the list just goes on. On the other hand: the new fighting animations are nice, physics and the aiming system have been improved, the game looks visually better (I appreciated that the visuals were getting more noticable after each upgrade level of the Force), having two lightsabers which can have two different colours and buffs simultaneously is a killer, and using the Force is still fun - yet, I enjoyed the whole fighting much more in the first one. Just as the challenges as well, especially if you are up for the highest medals, and even some challenges crashed for me a few times. We could have get the DLCs at least. I'm still sorry that we didn't get the final episode of Starkiller's story.

Worst port ever it non stop screen tears and lags non stop i wish i could get a refund on this game
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II was an epic game when it launched. Much like the first game, it took the Jedi power fantasy to the extreme, attempting to show the player just how powerful the Force can be if it's not limited by the individual's own limitations. While some criticize these games for being "too easy" or similar complaints, I find that the concept is executed very, very well and can be an absolute blast of cinematic action gameplay. Moreover, every single moment of this game just feels like Star Wars, as if you're in one of the prequels. As a millennial who grew up with the prequels alongside the originals, that really does hit the spot. Unfortunately, though, the game is utterly unplayable on modern PCs, at least in my experience. I played the crap out of it on a non-Steam game disc, and then almost 3 hours here on Steam after I got it from a Star Wars bundle years ago. I hadn't messed with it since then, and I wanted to play it for Star Wars Day this year, but unfortunately, it just crashes on launch. I've tried every suggestion I've seen online, none of them fix the issue. From validating the game files, to running in Windows 7 compatibility mode, to locking the framerate, nothing solved the problem and I literally cannot even get into the game. It absolutely sucks to see. It should be outright illegal for companies to not only sell a totally broken product like this, but it should also be illegal for them to leave it in such a state of disrepair unless the company went out of business or something.
If you can play this on period hardware, play it! However, this version is broken for now, so I recommend you stay far, far away....
Bring these games back already, ffs. The newer Jedi games are fine, but The Force Unleashed is superior in almost every way. Sure, the newer titles look slick—but they feel generic and restrictive by comparison (yes, I know some limitations are intentional). Ever since Disney took over, they've played it safe instead of taking risks and creating memorable experiences. The Force Unleashed had its own unique identity: an epic soundtrack, ridiculously over-the-top combat, and dark side Force powers that actually made you feel dangerous. On top of that, the character designs were far more memorable than anything we’re seeing now. This was Star Wars at its best. No restraint. No hand-holding. Just raw power fantasy done right in a video game. And just because it’s no longer considered canon isn’t a justification to abandon it—there’s still a wealth of Legends material to explore, both in games and on the big screen.
For as long as I've been playing I wanted to give the game a thumbs up. The state of the game though is appaling. Think about it: this game could be amazing. A great combat system. CGI cutscenes that look great to this day. Being the most overpowered force user ever. Euphoria physics. Throwing enemies around. Having enemies sucked out to outer space. The list goes on. The game is that good. The problems start as soon as you turn the resolution up from 720p, which is a peasant resolution. But the game will start crashing. Want higher than 30fps? The game will start crashing. There are community work arounds, none are perfect. This brings us to the next set of issues. The game uses outdated codecs so the fmv's will crash too. And anything except 720p will make the fmvs crash. If it weren't for all these glaring issues -the game should have never shipped this way- you're gonna find an entertaining action game.
