After spending 3 hours trying to get past EAC giving constant errors, I learned that the whole VR thing is just not worth it since you still have to use regular mouse and keybord or a gamepad, since motion controls arent supported (whats even the point of it being a VR game then?) And even past all that, the game plays boringly, the ships dont feel like they have any weight to them or have any difference in their flight between each other

Graphics are good, but the gameplay is mid and the missions are kinda boring. Since multiplayer is dead, there is no good reason to buy the game anymore.

5 hours in, I must say, the story is short and BAD. Gameplay is fun, I might get 20+ hours from this game just for the joy of flying around. Haven't tried multiplayer yet. Worth $5 or less. EDIT: worse than I thought. Couldn't get into any multiplayer match, and solo campaign glitched so could not finish. Still might be worth $2 or less if you have VR or a big screen and just want to fly around once a while.

Denuvo anti cheat routinely fails to authenticate, meaning our 4-player stack can't get into games. So we switched back to [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/359320/Elite_Dangerous/]Elite Dangerous[/url] instead. It's a pity, the install size is small and when it runs it runs well on our Bazzite machines even the weak ones. But the fact there's needless two-stage DRM that invalidates your game purchase maks it unteneble.

Loved the VR experience even tho my neck was sore after 2 hours of playing because I had to look out of the cockpit of my x-wing a lot. 9/10!

I mean, has all the things i wish i could have snappy fast ships graphics all that ♥♥♥♥.. but the controls are so bad i have to either reprogram my way to old monkey brain, or remap an entire controller.... I remember flying on the og xbox through the training canon on star wars star fighter in the Naboo star fighter... first time i ever touched a controller and i made it through that canyon without a scratch being a dare devil, now i run into things and feel stupid when i reinstall this.

Опять же — да, но нет. Задумка максимально интересная, а в VR-е играется вообще прикольно. Но есть одно огромное "НО", которое убивает всё напрочь — это EA. Своими тупыми решениями они просто слили нереально перспективный момент в моей любимой вселенной. Здесь могло быть в разы больше карт, больше режимов и куча всего еще (даже с учетом их желания навара), но этого нет из-за нерешительности издателя. В общем : задумка — класс, частичная реализация — класс, всё остальное — тотальное днище, как и сама EA. Потенциал просто смыли в унитаз. Ставлю палец вверх только из за своей скупой слезы.
