STAR WARS™ Knights of the Old Republic™

I actually love this game, but I can't recommend buying it due to the state its currently in. Constantly crashes, I've tried every community patch or mod fix available and it still remains unplayable. Really disappointing, because its one of the greats

is still better than most modern RPGs. The story, characters, and player choices have more depth than many newer games, making it a timeless classic. The controls have definitely aged, and they can feel a bit clunky and frustrating at times. However, once you get used to them, the game easily makes up for it with its incredible story and gameplay. The community is another huge reason to play it. There are amazing mods that improve the graphics, fix bugs, and enhance the overall experience while staying true to the original. If you're a Star Wars or RPG fan, this is an absolute must-play.

Its an oldie, but goodie, I play it once every few years. its good to remember better days.

Star Wars KOTOR is an amazing game of my childhood that tells the story of (in my opinion) some of the most interesting and coolest characters in the world of Star Wars. If you’ve been interested in giving it a go because you’ve heard a lot of great things about it but are being put off by the dated graphics, turn based combat etc, I recommend you try it for yourself and set it up with some mods that really elevate the experience and I promise this game will give you some of the best fun and classic Star Wars storytelling to this day. (One must have mod is the widescreen resolution fix which lets you play the game in your monitors native resolution. I suggest looking up a YouTube tutorial as it can be a bit of a process)

KOTOR is Star Wars at its best. Rugged planets, interesting characters, and funny dialogue. It's a great video game and I'd recommend it to anyone.

STAR WARS Knights of the Old Republic to absolutny klasyk RPG i jedna z najlepszych gier, jakie kiedykolwiek powstały w uniwersum Gwiezdnych Wojen. Akcja rozgrywa się tysiące lat przed filmami. Tworzymy własnego bohatera, kompletujemy drużynę i przemierzamy kolejne planety, próbując powstrzymać Dartha Malaka i armię Sithów. Największą siłą KOTOR-a jest fabuła. Dialogi, towarzysze, wybory moralne oraz możliwość podążania jasną lub ciemną stroną Mocy sprawiają, że naprawdę czujemy wpływ naszych decyzji na rozwój postaci i historii. System walki oparty na zasadach RPG może początkowo wydawać się dość archaiczny, ale oferuje ogromne możliwości rozwoju. Moce Jedi, miecze świetlne, wyposażenie i odpowiednie zbudowanie drużyny dają sporo satysfakcji. Technicznie gra mocno się zestarzała. Animacje są drewniane, interfejs archaiczny, a sterowanie wymaga przyzwyczajenia. Nie ma to jednak większego znaczenia, kiedy historia zaczyna nabierać tempa. KOTOR ma świetne postacie, kapitalny klimat i jeden z najbardziej pamiętnych zwrotów fabularnych w historii gier. Obowiązkowa pozycja nie tylko dla fanów Star Wars, ale również dla każdego miłośnika dobrych RPG. Zdecydowanie polecam.
