The community keeps praising the developer as if criticism is forbidden, but after six years of development, the project still feels like it moves two steps forward and one step back. The core issue is simple: this does not feel like a complete game. It feels like a great designer or sandbox tool, but not an actual game yet. You can create your little machines, vehicles, or “trinkets,” but after that, there is very little to do with them. There are no meaningful objectives, no real progression, no strong reason to improve, and no satisfying way to outsmart enemies or test your creations in a deeper gameplay loop. A proper multiplayer mode, or at least a more developed objective-based structure, could have helped a lot with the repetition. As it stands, the game quickly becomes: “You and the things you made,” and nothing more. What makes it more frustrating is the pace of development. After six years, the amount of meaningful gameplay content still feels extremely limited. The developer may be a talented designer, but the project has not grown into a proper game at the pace many players expected. I genuinely hope I am proven wrong in the future. I want this project to become what it was promised to be, and I would be happy to come back and say I was wrong. But in its current state, I cannot recommend it as a game. It is a promising creative tool with potential, but not a finished or satisfying gameplay experience. Peace
It is crazy how realistic and creative you need to be at this. I would say not the best for people who don't adapt to new things. For me at the start, it was hard to play. I struggled to design tanks due to the hard ways and keybinds. Once you play long enough, your creative skills may finally be in use( just like me). Once again, great tank designer game. One thing i would like to add is a workshop dealer where you can send your builds online to others into a page where others can download the design and use it. And it works the other way round to. finally, multiplayer. Do what you want with this one.

great tank game, but idk how to stop the "cannon rotation blocked" thing. even though nothing is blocking it.
the game is ridiculously hard to learn if you don't have 20 hours a day to dedicate to learning the game. it's only gotten more and more complicated and annoying since i bought the game, and it feels as though every update is more and more favored towards these advanced 20-hour-a-day players and not casual users who just wanna make cool tanks. not worth it unless you have a masters in mechanical engineering or whatever
I just cant say I enjoy playing the game anymore, I got it when it had just released and had a lot of fun, but ive tried to get back into playing it and im incredibly frustrated with the current state of the game, so if anyone else is eying the game, I would recommend waiting until the issues are hammered out and improved. Until then, I want to explain why im frustrated with the game. I feel like im putting more time into finagling with a messy placement system where things just randomly become invalid with little to no communication about whats causing it or how to fix it. On top of that the game really lacks in terms of quality of life features in order to actually work with it. You can add rigs and pose them, but for some reason I couldnt figure out how to do something as basic as moving the characters head, its nothing like what ive seen from things like blender. So many other building tools will also just feel completely unreliable I also just feel that the tanks are super unreliable or hard to control. The engines have been a super annoying thing to deal with for years because it goes so in depth. Im not a car mechanic, I dont know how these components work, I dont want to deal with detailed engine modules. I would much rather have a more detailed ammo system than a more detailed engine system. but for some reason the engine system got more attention than the ammo system. It just feels to me that features I would want are being ignored for features I would rather not deal with because I dont want to build tanks to that degree of complexity. I had a lot of fun building tanks with the simpler systems, but the current system just detracts so much from my experience that I wouldnt recommend the game anymore. I hope its addressed
I love this game, but I cant bring myself to say I would recommend it, even though I play it a lot. For a while, the main problem that this game has is that there is nothing to do after you build your tanks. While it is fun to build them and test them, there's not much to do after that, leading to a boring gameplay loop. Alongside that, the updates that come out are not really needed. They are good quality updates, don't get me wrong, but there are other updates that people have been asking for more than the ones coming out.
If you are a victim of Gaijin and have the bravery and self help to move on, this game is fantastic. Outside influences aside this is a sandbox game that slaps. I have not encountered major bugs that couldn't be fized with a bit of troubleshooting. Seeing all the sliders and buttons you can press seems daunting, but I got the hang of almost all the mechanics shockingly quick. I really just recommend digging on YT for an hour or more and getting to know all the basics. The gameplay outside of designing tanks is pretty barebones but perfectly acceptable. Please uninstall Warthunder.

Есть три момента выходяшие за рамки релястичности найденые мной возможно их больше , 1: как член экипажа может быть на половины в литой бронеплите и ему это не будет мешать но недай бох он одним пикселем дотронится до руки другово челена экипажа или боеукладки ему будет не комфортно но то что его голова в бронеплите или друга чать тела то нечего. 2: как один заряжаюший может поднять 2 тонный снаряд и это не максимум у меня 1 заряжающий поднимал до 4,5 тон . 3: как и почему танк весом 200 тон и двигателем на 400 л.с едит 101 км в час , а танк весом 60 тон и двигателем на 750 л.с едит всего 70 км в час
