Crashes when trying to load into a game. I wanted to see if I still hated this game, as I originally hated its keyboard and mouse controls when I played it around a decade ago, but I figured I'd try it with a controller. It seems they're selling a game that most people can't get to even function, and that includes me. Valve needs to start actually removing nonfunctional games from the Steam store, to force the developers to actually make sure the product they're selling is something that actually functions, otherwise they're scamming people. Testing needs to be done in a way that shows the full game is functional, not just launching it. The game will launch and seem to function fine, but as soon as I then try loading into a game after creating a file, or even trying to load that file after relaunching the game from a crash, the game will have a few seconds where it freezes, then immediately crashes to the desktop. This sort of garbage behavior, the selling- oh, I'm sorry, the "licensing" of faulty software needs to be outlawed, and I'm tired of there being games that fail to function while being sold. This is the digital equivalent of someone knowingly selling spoiled meat and getting away with it. If Valve had any actual morals, which of course they don't when you consider the gambling issues they and Gabe get a huge profit from, they'd remove this game and others from the Steam store, or they'd outright require them to be fixed and functional. Such utter hypocrisy it is to say that piracy is a result of poor service, only to then turn and offer a poor service. Just proves that Gabe's a grifter, and the developers of this game are a direct part of the problem; they're the rot in the system.
Magicka is ze greatest vizard disaster simulator ever made. You press buttons, summon death, explode friends, heal enemies, and somehow call zis “teamwork.” I, Vlad, who is absolutely not vampire, approve very much. Ze robes are stylish, ze magic is powerful, and ze survival rate is deeply insulting. One moment you are hero, next moment you are smoking pile of regret because friend tried “helping.” 10/10. Vould explode again. Still not vampire.

I had a really good time with friends on this one. The dialogue is so endearing. I really recommend playing together on voice chat for max fun. <3
оно просто вылетает при старте игры, проблема давняя разрабы забили на это, впрочем как и в других своих проектах
A really fun and creative games where you need to use different spells, and spell combinations, to defeat enemies and bypass environmental obstacles. I have a ton of great memories of this game from multiplayer with friends years and years ago. You can get up to all kinds of shenaningans, and the game doesn't take itself all that seriously either. It is pretty comedic, and that helps to get the laughs going. However, at this point it is a bit dated, over a decade old, and suffering from technical issues. Also, I didn't realize it, but it went through the Paradox Process, as I like to call it, and ended up with more DLC than game. I hate this business practice. If you have a group of friends who are set on playing this with you, don't mind working through some technical problems, and can get this game when it is on sale, I would recommend it. However, if you are looking to play this single player, I would probably give it a pass, especially if you can't get it for cheap.
I dont know why pepole say it crashes on windows 11. I t worsk fine for me
It's an actual piece of ♥♥♥♥ technically
