Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 18 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Games fine, but i cant get passed the insulting DEI insertions. My father fought and served on an aircraft carrier and died in a wheel chair. If he seen this game he would be pissed. For me as a disabled person, i just find the pandering disgusting. I play video games to get away from this ♥♥♥♥. not be reminded that im ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.
It's a neat game but at one point you have to fight inside what is essentially a "building" and its obvious they didnt playtest it at all. The game just falls apart and the buggy glitchy behaviour makes the mission essentially uncompletable.

This is the single most ridiculous Ship game I've ever played with somehow the best gameplay, every time I think i'm at the end another even more nonsensical thing happens, this is like Ace combat Meets Wattpad I love it.
I can recommend the game...however I can also bemoan that my mind was kicked out of the experience quickly, and my suspension of disbelief and enjoyment never occurred. I know that it's a mental difference that's on my end alone, but between the Warship Gunner games and this...both WS 1 and 2 are better to me. Maybe spending hundreds of hours in Warship Gunner 2 has spoiled me, but while thought and care went into Waves of Steel, for me it falls short at every step. I found I disliked the characters, the story, even menu navigation quickly, and the active gameplay threw out any chance at fun I could have had. I feel bad for typing this out...but even as I remember my short experience, it's leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Sorry. In short: Good game, very taste dependent.
This was a fun and silly game. The story was okay and the animation bits in between missions is okay enough, but people are playing for the silliness of the next bigger and badder enemy with a bigger gun. You can make some truly crazy ships in this game and I'm all for that. The game isn't optimized nor run well enough on the Steam Deck which is a little dissappointing because the game is pretty low poly and seems very much up the alley for playing on something like the Steam Deck, but you cant have everything.
This game just kind of sucks. there is potential, but its riddled with issues, and it really doesn't feel fun at all. the campaign is so dry and uneventful, the enemies are bland, and overall the game is just a disappointment. A few others noticed the on the nose diversity inclusions, and its true. the devs obviously wanted one of every kind of disability and minority to be a "main" actor in the game, and it really is comically obvious the lengths they went to for that. Its like a parody of DEI in the navy almost. (side note, they went to extreme lengths for this portrayal in everything except for actually having a decent artist make the sprites, for that i think even stick figures would have done better.) Ship Builder is cool, but honestly Ultimate Admirals Dreadnoughts just does the same things this does but better. 0/10. Boring and ugly game.
If you, like me, were waiting literal decades for Warship Gunner 3 - you've found it.
Honestly, a surprisingly little gem It may looked graphically very subpar, a little half cooked on many aspects, but it is just fun You wanna design the most sick or improbable vessel to ever set sail? You can, the ship editor is quite simple (even too much, forget about symmetry, some hull and parts have weird little issues), a couple of modder created a few pack to add some variety (I was tired to have the classic US double 5inch on every ship) Maybe the progression and parts unlock needed a couple of minute in the oven, but it's fine. Maybe some weapons are a little too weird.... but wait to look a the boss.. I just loved how the creator just went more and more bananas going on in the late levels! Plus work great on the Deck, perfect if you wanna kill 10 minutes mindless
Had potential, most of it wasted. "Bosses" are stupidly easy or 1000 times harder than hardest dark souls. The biggest gun mission is the stupidest thing ever. Wish I could get my time and my money back. Avoid, not even worth it on sale. Also the dev has abandoned it because they got big mad it didn't make a ton of money. Sad.
