Love it. Big fan. Wish there was an endless mode. So many options but none of them feel bad or poorly balanced. This somehow scratches both my magic itch and the same itch that, like, Civ scratches.
Bon jeux
While charming at first, the game fails to be either a campaign-builder or roguelike-sim-- in fact the elements work against each other at most junctions. Lots of shallow mechanics, incredibly limited control, obtuse information; even if you like the ideas presented actually playing the game is a bit of a mess. Also, everything is incredibly aesthetically lacking, especially once your school inevitably turns into a brick.
big fan of this game, feels very wizardly how you just mash building together like a madman to create your school personally would have enjoyed this game a lot more if it had more political mechanics with the other factions however the system is both functional and fun so no complaints there. i would say no complaints is a very good way to describe how i feel about the game altogether really good stuff
An addicting game that makes you want to come back and experiment. Definitely a fun take on a colony game and a deckbuilder!
Fun because of the unique game mechanics. Would be better if it wasn't that easy and more challenging.
This game can seem intimidating at the start; there's so much to learn and the tutorial is bare bones. But if you push through, underneath it all is an addictive gem of a game that will quickly suck up all of your time. If you like base building games with a heavy dose of RNG, this is your jam. My only complaint is the terrible UI - it is easy to wreck a game by accidentally dropping a room where it was not intended to go. Especially since the controls are very wonky; half the time trying to put a room card back into the deck results in a drop. This could have been avoided if, for example, there is a pop-up to confirm that you wish to drop the room.
It was kinda fun for one run, but was dragging by the end. Its mostly just watching the game play itself. Most decisions I made either seemed like they didnt matter or it was obviously which choice was best
