Game has been retroactively patched to include AI-generated images of Charlie Kirk. This is not disclosed on the Steam page, which is against Steam's TOS.
Steam requires devs to disclose if their games contain AI-generated assets. Old School does not do that, and even went as far to patch these in post-release. Not a fan.
When this game came out, I bought it to support Mat, but since then, I've fully regretted my good faith purchase. The addition of generative AI post-purchase is like a slap in the face to real artists that enjoy his games. Big thumbs down. Just play Bully again.
The most realistic school simulator yet. Got told by a teacher to improve my science grade by 1:00 in-game. I then got beaten up by that same teacher immediately after, got knocked out by them, and sent to the hospital. I had to pay for my hospital fees using MY money (not my parents'). Then I had to be in a wheelchair until i was better. I accidentally ran over someone in my wheelchair, got sent to the principal's office, they let me go. Then I was reported for truancy because i skipped a lesson (I was in the principal's office during the lesson so i couldnt have gone there if i wanted to). Got beaten up by another teacher before taking me to the principal AGAIN. 10/10, It has a little something for everyone
If the developer knew how to implement controls that weren't cancerous, this would be one of the best games on steam
I think the guy who made this is a zionist, there are so many exam questions about israel and judaism
All the people whining about Charlie being in the games are the same people who would have scolded you for not wanting gay flags in other games. The left has no self-awareness and I'm gonna keep buying these games out of spite. Also he games is very fun to mess around in but not very fun to actually play seriously.
I love MDickie games, but this one was unfortunately a miss for me. It's just way too fast-paced, a ton of the problems could be solved just by slowing the clock down significantly, but unfortunately that isn't an option. The chaotic nature of MD games just doesn't translate well to a school environment where everything is organized and structured, and you're punished severely for engaging with the more fun aspects of the game (like combat in any way). That combined with the very few options given when talking to people makes it fall flat despite its potential, since you can't really interact with other characters on a deeper than superficial level. it's close to being a good RPG but lacks some essential mechanics that kind of kills the whole thing.
Stupid and fun. Sadly the controls don't really make sense. Like they sometimes just do their own thing half the time. Still funny and enjoyable though.
pretty epic
