I've played for 7.5 hours and this is it. There is no more to the game other than a slightly different 5 minute mission on repeat. Has a good premise that is really badly implemented along with questionable AI use.
AI slop.
Its okay for a time, but its too repetitive
While the core mechanics are genuinely impressive and offer a satisfying tactical foundation, the experience suffers from a lack of mission variety that makes long sessions feel like a chore. It’s a fun, engaging distraction in short bursts, but the repetitive nature of the gameplay makes it hard to recommend at full price; definitely wait for a sale.
Great game. Managed to scratch that RTS-Tower Defense-Base Management itch that I've been scratching for a long time. lol Gameplay: Great Story: Is actually good, a parent sacrificing oneself to save an offspring. Controls: Good Graphics: Good Length: Good Cutscenes: Alright Characters: Good Game Modes: I really like the Mech Missions, reminded of Helldivers 1. lol Progression might seem slow, but you can just choose what you want to heavily upgrade first. I can get by with Hard Missions with one fully upgraded Hero and Turret plus the SkyGun Mk. II.
pretty much what all the bad reviews are saying; starts strong but gets repetitive. resource and reward also feel like i work too hard to get too little. after the first few hours, the juice ain't worth the squeeze on this one. here's hoping i get my money back.
;)
