The game is basically just a whole episode of South Park, but that takes at least 11 hours to finish. If you're a South Park fan, I truly recommend this for you, or if you just enjoy playing RPG. Because this game is really interesting. The humor of the game is just like the show's humor, which makes it funny while hearing the dialogues between the characters. You can "talk" with the character either in your profile or in your social media, where you get really popular. I like this part, because while you do see the characters keep talking about you, the game also them talking with themselves. And how it is the conversation depending of the character, which strengthens the idea that playing the game feels like being in the show. It is also an open world game, though being a short map because that it's a small town. The games makes it perfect by using references to the show (which you see in the characters' houses); using quests to make you explore the game even more (the optional ones) and by also using the main-story of the show, which changes the scenario of each place depending of what happened (Like the school). I like the gameplay too, I spent a good time on quests like "Betrayal From Within", "O Canada" and "Attack the School". Because many times there were scenes where I had to press the buttons fast, or just because the quest was too long. And talking about pressing buttons fast, one of the best part of the gameplay and the characters is that whoever is your buddy, or whatever is your class. It feels like you could easily point which one's better by making a rank or something, because all of them have different ways of attacking. And the fact that while not being in a battle they still have different purposes, is still amazing for me. The game itself is really short, as I said, you could easily beat it in 11-20 hours, and with that the game does have some negative points: - Its cutscenes are super laggy, my character and the main characters are the show always "desappear" from it; - The character creation part feels too limited, a great example is that the game just assumes that you're a boy (Probably because of the makeover quest); - Since the game is too short, it doesn't let you buy "all of the things" in the game without selling something; - Even after beating the whole game, it feels a bit frustrating for the fact that are still many places you cannot access; - I feel like many characters didn't have enough screentime, even for the cutscenes. For an example, Tweek literally just served for one quest, which was about bringing him to the Kupa Keep; - Besides the Kupa Keep was amazing, because many characters were there together. It's funny that the only reason that the Drow Elves were there is because the Kupa Keep needed an enemy, since Kyle and Cartman are enemies/friends at the same time. So, the only actual characters on Drow Elves were Kyle, Stan, Jimmy and Timmy. Which makes brings the idea that the Drow Elves are kind of irrelevant. In general. Playing "South Park: The Stick of Truth" was amazing. And if I had the chance I'd recommend to anyone who's a fan of South Park or to someone who just likes playing RPG.
Dark Souls/Elden Ring/any RPG game does not stand a fxcking chance to South Park The Stick Of Truth.
