Pros: - Great Music - Easy to follow mechanics - Difficult Puzzles - Good Humor (I can tell it wont suit everyone) - A fun theme and world built Cons: - There is no going back except starting a new run - It can get pretty grindy - It can be easy to lose your place and forget where you are - Little things matter. This is both good and bad as it creates a more connected world and gives the feeling that your choices do actually matter. But messing up or doing something at an earlier point just to find you've locked yourself out of quest lines or something else can be frustrating. Overall: 8/10
One of my favorite RPGs. MY only gripe with the game is how easy it is to miss the many extremely satisfying gems you can experience such as the fabled stupid walking book.
After watching Markiplier play the game, I had to try it out for myself and I reallyed enjoyed it and also just goofing off in general when playing. It became one of those games that when you play you for a bit it's suddenly a few hours later at least for me.
A rootin'-tootin' hoot of a game plum-fulla cow-punchin', snake-oilin', bean-slingin', ancient civilizations, necromancy and alien gods. May the Cows never Come Home.
I love this game. Thank you, Markiplier
so I know what it looks like but the tutorial is crazy hard good game
This is an RPG where you get perks like Minesplainer for talking a bunch of nonsense about mining equipment, and then the game grants extra XP when doing any mining thereafter. It's a game that asks you to choose from being a Cow Puncher, a Beanslinger, or a Snake Oiler. It's a game where seeing spittoons elicits utter joy. Yet underneath this glorious silliness is a full RPG, with satisfying combat mechanics, lots of locations to explore, and lots of quests to complete. To say anymore would spoil the joys of discovering all the jokes and nonsense for yourself.
Sarcasm, Iront, and Spitoons. What's not to like?
only 50 minutes in, and im loving it. The art style is unique and unlike anything ive seen, its so simple yet it just works. This game also has a unique sense of humor i find quite funny, this game has already given me a good few laughs and im only in the second town (im chuckling to myself rn js watching the trailer) I would suggest you get this game while you can thanks to the steam sale making it dirt cheap. Definitely recommend to any buyer
The variety of options for solving puzzles and quests is insane. Additionally, I've never laughed so hard at the witty dialogue and descriptions. Turn based combat is fun
