I loved the story and the open world, but if your a big fan of sonic you maybe want to pick a different game
cool
Технодемка в которую весело играть
Certainly one of the stranger games I've played in recent years. It drops you into an open world and feels nothing like what you'd expect from a traditional Sonic game. The open world has a very tech-demo vibe to it with all the floating rails and bumpers, and yet somehow it works as an entertaining game to play. Sonic Frontiers shines in all the places you wouldn't think of when you think of a Sonic game: content-filled open world, actual good enemy design and surprisingly decent character writing that doesn't veer into cringe territory. The open world is the biggest aspect of this whole game and where you'll spend most of your playtime in. There's stuff to do around every corner, little parkour sections, simple puzzles, character interactions, collectables, enemy encounters. If you're into open world collectathons, this is the game for you. Perhaps my biggest and only main gripe with the open world is a lack of interesting vistas and landmarks. There's a few different biomes, but within those biomes everything looks very same-y and you don't ever get that "wow that looks cool in the distance let's go check it out" that you normally have in the genre. In the open world, you'll encounter enemies and large bosses that you'll have to deal with using the game's combat system. Enemies actually have unique and creative gimmicks that demand paying attention to. Trying to bumrush enemies is sometimes not even an option at all, and in other cases it'll punish you for trying. There's a big boss fight at the end of every main area that is a nice mix between challenge and spectacle. Nothing overly demanding, but they're not total pushovers either. Beyond the open world, there's the smaller instanced stages that are more like standard Sonic levels; a race to the finish, if you will. Coming from mainly the classic 2D games, these felt very strange and unnatural. There is zero momentum to Sonic's gameplay, he'll stop in an instant the moment you stop pressing forward, and honestly I hate that, and it took me several hours to somewhat get used to it. Eventually, I figured it out and they play reasonably well, but it feels like the dash ability was really not made for these stages. It's incredibly easy to dash and end up in a bottomless pit in any place where you're not railroaded in a forward-only or sideview section. Having kinda mixed feelings about these stages. Back to the open world. This is also where you progress the main story by unlocking little dialogues with Sonic's friends and also the game's antagonist on occasion. Some of these were pretty entertaining and it's nice to see we can finally get a Sonic game again where it's not filled with self-aware, referential humour that ruins whatever tone they were trying to go for which has plagued the series for so long. The game separates the more serious moments from the comedic lines, they've found a good balance between the two with this game. The writing makes Sonic feel truly like Sonic, and not some lame impostor, lol. The game is pretty fun, but not without its flaws. The controls are pretty good for the most part, but on occasion suffer from jank resulting in some frustration at times, but nothing too bad. The combat system feels overdone and doesn't require you to use like half of the abilities you get access too. It even has a skill tree, but it doesn't feel like a meaningful feature as you'll end up unlocking everything in it anyway. This game could have done with streamlining some of its systems, but at the same time they also don't get in the way enough to be truly bothersome. Perhaps, the weakest aspect of this game is its soundtrack, which I've found utterly forgettable the times I tried listening to it, and I instead ended up playing some of the way better old soundtracks that you can unlock within the game itself. Overall, it's an enjoyable game. Far from perfect, but it's fun in its own unique way for a Sonic game. It somehow gives me a little more hope for the future of this franchise that was a part of my childhood once.
o mundo aberto é muito bom
Everything is great until you get to Ouranous/Final Horizon. When you do get to Ouranous, I sure do hope you're into masochism.
初學者會需要一點時間熟悉遊戲的操作跟速度感,但熟悉之後是滿爽快的
