eventhough still preferring SE4 I had a lot of fun with the 5th game. people complain about levels not being sniper friendly. in my opinion this is true for the 1st mission which is the weakest of all levels. the rest is amazing. easy recommandation for all SE4 fans.
very good for the price

Karl has never sniped better. Love V2 too
love it
Updated with more play time, but my gripes below still stand. I'm keeping my "don't recommend" as this is still a new enough game that they could fix it with an update; after all, they went through the trouble of updating the maps to self-advertise their newer game. The good: The world design is honestly 10/10, wasn't expecting such detailed maps. The bad: Autosave is broken and doesn't work half of the time; have lost 2+ hours of progress multiple times because of it. I was halfway through replaying a mission and the last autosave was at the start of the mission. Found out that it won't autosave (outside of major events in the mission) if there's _any_ searching going on at all, even if it's the opposite side of the map from over an hour beforehand.
i beat this game is the first hours of playing it was really fun and cool but sniper elite v2 or 4 is still the best the graphics the x ray vision was one of the best ideas in gaming history so I can't wait to beat sniper elite 3 and 6 or whatever it is called
an old school campaign set in world war 2 and no in game betrayal, which has been over-used in games (in each of your jedi games for instance - both fallen order and the sequel). i am not into pvp but the invasion mechanic is interesting and should be fun though i feel the maps in resistance look better for that. fortunately you can turn off invasions or allow only friends - and there is campaign co-op play. and because i enjoy this game so much im getting the dlc - but others recommend you do so when on offer, so check others comments on reasons why, or look at the contents on steam and decide if its worth the price. my attitude is a little different to most. i feel if a game was worth my time playing it, and has dlc, its worth getting the dlc when i have the money. this game is worth my time and money. i dont wait for a sale when i judge a game was worth the time i played it, but if it is on sale when i decide the dlc is worth getting then i will take that luck. i judge the dlc for this will add more playability to the game for me, in many ways, so its worth it for me. you will make your own value judgements of course. but you cant invade another player's campaign mission if you dont own that map!
