Sniper Elite 5 is a satisfying blend of stealth, tactical gameplay, and long-range sniping that gives you plenty of freedom in how you complete each mission. Set across large open-ended maps during World War II, you're tasked with infiltrating enemy territory, eliminating key targets, and completing optional objectives. Whether you prefer silently picking off enemies from hundreds of meters away or sneaking through buildings without being detected, the game supports a variety of playstyles. One of the biggest strengths of the game is its level design. Every map is packed with multiple paths, hidden areas, sniper nests, and opportunities to approach objectives differently. You can spend time scouting the area, setting traps, disabling alarms, or simply finding the perfect vantage point before taking the shot. The freedom to experiment makes every mission feel rewarding to replay. Of course, the signature X-ray kill cam is still one of the highlights. Watching a perfectly timed shot travel across the map before seeing the slow-motion impact never really gets old, especially after landing a difficult shot through the environment or from an incredible distance. It adds an extra layer of satisfaction to every successful elimination. Playing with a friend makes the experience even better. The co-op campaign is a lot of fun, allowing you to coordinate attacks, cover each other from different positions, and come up with creative strategies for clearing heavily guarded areas. There are also invasion and multiplayer modes that add even more replayability after finishing the campaign. The game isn't without its flaws. Enemy AI can occasionally make questionable decisions, and some animations feel a little stiff compared to other modern stealth games. Even so, the core gameplay is consistently enjoyable, and the combination of stealth, exploration, and sniping makes it easy to come back for another mission. If you're a fan of tactical shooters or stealth games that reward patience and careful planning, Sniper Elite 5 is an easy recommendation. > **Graphics:** 8.5/10 > **Performance:** 9/10 > **Gameplay:** 9/10 > **Level Design:** 9/10 > **Stealth:** 9/10 > **Sound Design:** 8.5/10 > **Replayability:** 8.5/10 > **Co-op:** 9/10 > **Overall:** 9/10
The game is very realistic in my opinion. It is also very fun to play on the different difficulty levels. You can easily make it through the whole game on civilian, whereas Authentic makes it really hard to make long shots, and deceive the Nazi NPCs.
