A great little game that knows what it wants to do and executes it well. It involves actual strategy rather than relying purely on the incremental aspect while still having a satisfying progression.

Poor replay value at the time of the review. The tower upgrade tree is lackluster. Finished the basic game within 5 hours, couldn't convince myself to even attempt to do the achievements. I love tower defense games but this one is just boring - it tries to win you over by overwhelming amount of mobs attacking but it's just flashy looks with very basic core gameplay. Wouldn't be surprised if this was an AI made cash grab. The "humble brag" of 100k sales 4 days after the release, followed by the supporter pack DLC was a bit insulting. Would refund if I could.
$10 game, played 8 hours. Looking forward to updates!
Definitely one of those "one more round" games. Very fun!
I think we might a problem, An Orc Problem.
Pure. ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Cinema.
Pros: - fun cheap game for a number of hours - orc fluid mass is funny Cons: - lack of QoL like fast forward to speed up the grind, or slowdown for lower end computers when it reaches Lvl 5.2 and after - economy is slow and as a result makes farming runs boring - "plug the choke" kind tower defense - not too many levels Overall fun, but come in with tempered expectations. I wanna see some free new levels and more QoL
garbage
It's good, but I have some constructive criticism that I hope might help take this game from good to great. I like this game and I want to play more of it. But I probably won't without some of these tweaks in a future update. 1) It was never clear to me that I only got those little cubes if I completed the level with taking no damage until after I had completed the game and went back to the beginning to try the early levels with upgraded weapons. I was locked out from some branches on the tree just because I didn't know how to get more cubes. This may have been explained, but if it was I missed it so take it as a data point. 2) It isn't very challenging. And that's okay, it's good for casual players. Even though I was locked out from a few branches of the tree I wasn't ever uncertain that I could beat a level. Don't get me wrong, there was a clear escalation in difficulty, but the game was over before I really had to struggle. 3) And this ties in with two. Not enough maps. I don't feel cheated for $10, but with this kind of game I assume it's pretty easy to make just a few more maps. Maybe one or two per difficulty level, and then a few more difficulty levels higher than the current max. And paid DLC is not a fix for more maps (or more enemy variety). Not in this case. I don't feel cheated for $10 but I did expect more and feel that with the traction this game is getting that a bit more work in this area is justified in standard updates 3) I'm not sure how I feel about making later orcs bullet spongey. Why do these guys take more hits? Do they have kevlar? If so why do they look the same? Maybe make them faster instead or just keep adding more until it is absurd. 4) General polish. I won't list a bunch of examples, but you know it when you see it. 3 that stood out though: Enemy sprite/model/whatever you use variety is low. Only one AI behavior, the menu screams "I was coded with Claude." Some stuff I really like by the way: Content, variety, and upgrade system for weapons is good. I liked that no single weapon was good enough for every situation. I never really got bored of any single one because they always had their specific case where a different one couldn't quite get the job done.
