Lost in an alternate dimension, Neptune must collect enough shares to get back home. Sounds easy – except the Seven Sages want to rid Gamindustri of CPUs, including Neptune! Help defeat them and return her to her own world in this JRPG – or be stuck in the '80s forever!

Absolute Nep-Nep
I wish I could make this a mixed review because I really don't know whether to recommend it or not. This Neptunia game takes place after Rebirth 2, and features a villain called Rei Ryghts, who thinks that Gamindustri is better off without CPUs. She then sends Neptune into another dimension after being given powers by someone I like to call 'Evil Histoire'. Now Neptune has to find a way back home... eventually. On her journey with doing this, she also has to help her newfound friends battle the Seven Sages, who are a bunch of villains who, much like Rei Ryghts, thinks the world is better off without CPUs. Pretty much all of the game is spent in this other dimension and you get to see alternate dimension versions of characters we know, such as Noire, Blanc and Vert, although some new characters also get introduced, Like Plutia and Peashy. But it's mostly the alternate dimension versions of characters. The gameplay is much like you've seen in previous Rebirth games, with the turned based combat and copy-pasted dungeons but the gameplay feels the best in this game in particular. The story is... not really that good, with bad pacing and at one point, I sat there for over 30 minutes just going through dialogue. The characters also act like morons with weird and annoying writing in their dialogue. I played with a retranslation patch but it didn't really help that much. Some people might not mind it but if you just want things to move forward, it can really get to you. I most likely won't go back to this game. It was exhausting to play through when I got to the second half, but I did beat it. The Nepucation DLC was great though. I liked the focus on the 4th wall breaking in it. If you liked the previous Rebirth games, maybe give this a go?
easily the best one in the rebirth trilogy, my biggest problem here is that story aside, this is the same game as rebirth 1 and 2 gameplay wise apart from some very minor differences here and there id be lying if said playing THE EXACT SAME GAME FOR OVER 200 HOURS didnt make me go crazy sometimes, but overall i had a great time <3

Nepu!Nepu!
## 🎮 Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 3: V Generation *Re;Birth 3* is another fantastic and memorable entry that deserves a lot of credit. I know a lot of people in the community weren't fans of how Neptune treated Nepgear at the beginning of the story, and while I understand where they're coming from, that's exactly what makes the narrative work for me. Neptune actually grows as a character throughout the journey, making their dynamic much more meaningful by the end. Just like the second game, *Re;Birth 3* nails the gameplay balance. It’s a smooth, incredibly fun experience that keeps you hooked without being bogged down by frustrating pacing issues. But what really seals the deal for me is the soundtrack. The music in this game is incredible, and my absolute favorite track has to be Purple Heart’s theme. It hits so hard and perfectly captures the hype of the battles. **Final verdict:** Despite the controversy around the character dynamics early on, *Re;Birth 3* delivers great character growth, excellent balance, and one of the best soundtracks in the series. A brilliant conclusion to the Re;Birth trilogy.
Just finished the True End, and on the way through to get the Normal End out of the way, at the time of typing this review. Overall there's not much more to be said that hasn't been said already by many other people. The game is yet more of the same and if you enjoyed Re;Birth 1 and/or 2 then you'll enjoy this. This is a sequel of 2 and takes you to a different dimension at the hands of the main antagonist Rei Ryghts (cute voice btw). I enjoyed the game however I have a few quibbles to mention, primarily in that there seems to be an excess of dialogue this time. Admittedly the games have always revolved around the VN sections however this time around you'll be taken out of the gameplay for very long stretches of time. Secondly I found Plutia's gimmick to wear out its welcome rather quickly after it starts to bleed into her non-HDD form. The constant "domming" of the conversation feels rather suffocating after a while which is a shame because I did rather like Plutia when the overtly S personality was relegated to the HDD form. Imagine if Nep-Nep started acting like she does in her HDD in her DFC form, it'd suck. The Stella's Dungeon was a decent way of getting a lot of materials, I very rarely had to go out and find specific materials as I almost always had what I needed by progressing through the tower and killing/looting everything through the dungeons as I went. It was also rather pleasant not to have to muck about with shares, after 100%ing 1 and 2 one after each other it was a welcome respite although if you're returning without having done what I did then you may or may not be disappointed to find the shares system superfluous (outside of Nepgear's leader skill). A final comment on the NG+ system, I completed the True End and found that you're not automatically thrown into NG+ if you finish. You now select a chirper with the Event tag and it will explain NG+ and ask whether you wish to start it. This is much better than how 1 and 2 handled it. Blanc is still best girl.
