At first I thought it was just a good horror game, but in the end I got one of the best stories in gaming. After the credits I just sat in silence for a few minutes. 10/10
This game is truly beautiful to me. The small details that are hidden within this game is insane. The characters all have different valid reasons on why they act the way they do. Angela and maria will always be my favourites in this game purely because they went through so much. Angela deserved nothing but the best ending in this game, finding peace with herself. Maria is a beauty who deserved more than existing purely for just one sick man. Feeling used or not appreciated. Mary had a hard ending to her life, but found peace eventually in silent hill. Gameplay wise is beautiful, even on lowest graphics this game is absolutely gorgeous, still so much detail. Cutscenes are very well played out and the combat is super fun. The ambient sounds while you're in dark places with very open spaces, surrounded by monsters that could jump scare you anytime is awesome. I'm always scared playing this game which is awesome cause I already know how it goes and ends, yet its still eerie to play by yourself. This game will always be one of my favourites alongside my first, Silent hill 3. The game is paced super well and the boss fights are really cool to see in the remake. Both OG and remake are equally frightening, the OG just had the long, dark, eerie corridors with bad lighting and bad graphics does get to you. The amount of liminal space in the apartments and hospital area in the OG was also really unsettling. Konami did a wonderful job at recreating the uncomfortable moments of the game. There's so many hidden details you don't see/ or make sense of until you play through the game again. I love when the developers value the player going back to appreciate the wonders of the game again. Makes it more exciting and beautiful as whole! So many out of bound things that you don't see, Konami really did such a great job making the game so interesting to look back and explore on with many understanding endings that were worth your time played. Soundtrack is also a second favourite behind Silent hill 3's one. I truly wish whenever they do a Silent hill 3 remake it'll be as well made as this beautiful remake. Both games are just so gorgeous in their own sense. The overall aesthetics of them both are beautiful, especially in this remake also. Really glad I got to play this game, eventually it will be an 100%ed game. If you're thinking about buying this game, dewww ittttt, completely worth it in the end. There's multiple endings with meaningful touches. I'll always keep adding to this if I think of something to say about this game, because it really is as good as it sounds! This game is something I'll never be able to forget about, even if I tried. It holds dear to my heart. I'll keep adding to this review if I want to say something about the game.
RECOMENDO!
İyi.
perfect.
bad optimization, issues with the graphics all the time i open the game. Seems like the developers learned how to make a controller vibrate, and there is VIBRATION EVERYWHERE... Finished the game because i bought it for 40 eur and was pissed with it
pretty amazing remake. I will go back and finish it someday
What can I say. This game is nearly perfect. I would one hundred percent recommend it. It just has one glaring issue: it is terribly optimized.
