Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 18 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Estratégia e inteligencia full time funcionando nele.
Pretty bad game overall. Detective games in general stand and fall on the writing and puzzle design. The Devil's Daughter dissapoints on both ends. Nonsensical and unsatisfying solutions to overcomplicated cases, too many boring stealth/action segments, even the puzzle elements often rely just on trial and error. A big step-down from Crimes and Punishments. Laughable attempts at an overarching story, which just fizzles out at the end without any proper conclusion. Graphical errors, awkward movement and softlocks abound. The game also comes of as surprisingly edgy in its attempts to be dark and mature, it appears almost ashamed of the lighter and more comedic side of the Sherlock Holmes stories, which the Crimes and Punishements managed to embrace without sacrificing the intrique. The first case has some tense moments and an interesting build-up, but fails to deliver a proper ending for the main suspect and the side charaters. The second case turns out to be completely nonsensical, due to it's inclusion of some of the worst attemps at red herrings ever. Many obvious holes and discrepancies are never satisfyingly explained, and the "correct" solution is way dumber than the other options. The last third of this case becomes a tedious crawl through an ugly ancient temple, where the player has to combat not only the boring puzzles, but also the stiff controls and the pure annoyance of dying over and over again. There is also an entire subplot about steampunk robots that goes nowhere! The third case opens with a bang and has some funny moments, but once again falls prey to extended stealth sections and pretty boring gameplay. There are very few locations in this story and it feels somewhat weightless. The fourth case is hands down the best part of this game. The puzzles are interesting and require some actual deductive reasoning from the player, the story is focused and the action minigames aren't too distracting. The final moral decision is also more complex than in all of the other cases. The last case is where the game comes to a screeching halt. It's laughably short and fails to establish any kind of tension or sympathy for the characters. It tries to come of as a conclusion to a slow-burning mystery hidden in the shadows, but comes of as intensely melodramatic and goofy. The game ends with a "Telltale-like" dialogue final boss, which might have been satisfying with a proper build-up, but comes off as rushed and insincere. This game attempts a different direction for a Sherlock Holmes story, but sacrifices everything I love about this character and detective games as a genre. Too little thinking and too much spectacle and misdirection. I reccomend you to skip this game, unless you're ready to overlook it's many bad qualities and enjoy the small, fleeting moments of intrique and tension.
I'll recommend this out of respect to the developers and due to some clever and fun puzzles, but frankly, this isn't a great game in my opinion. Buy this on a big sale if you can. - The title implies that there's a main continuous plot and investigation, but this is another "chapters" game of five different unrelated cases that their conclusion doesn't affect the rest of the game at all. I think it creates weaker immersion. - At the end of each case you've gathered enough clues to accuse different suspects based on your deductions. This could have been a great game mechanism, but in some cases it really feels that more than one could be true (or even that all of them have a flaw and are illogical). So you choose something and then the game tells you if you were right or wrong but without any reasoning. It doesn't create a sense of achievement or even a sense of failure. Just a sense of arbitrarity which is really bad for a detective game. - The voice acting of too many characters isn't good. The girl was especially annoying.
pros ✅ gorgeous, polished graphics and level design featuring Victorian London districts and places like Whitechapel and Highgate Cemetery ✅ there are some fun to play action and stealth sequences ✅ well made cutscenes ✅ there are nice variety and many complex, challenging puzzles. ✅a well-written, engaging, and intriguing main story with some twists and turns and five different and independent criminal cases. The main story is about Sherlock Holmes's stepdaughter, whose criminal father killed the previous game (The Testament of Sherlock Holmes), and he is keeping her true origin as a secret. However, the situation changes when a mysterious woman known as "Alice" becomes Holmes's new neighbor. Alice slowly befriends Katelyn, eventually earning the daughter's trust while causing emotional issues between Holmes and Katelyn at the same time. Throughout the game, Holmes will solve different cases while getting to know Alice's origin and her true intention ✅ It's enjoyable to piece together deductions in Sherlock's thinking ✅ character models and cutscenes looks decent ✅ decent length ✅ decent voice acting ✅ there are steam achievements and cards ✅ there is an map for fast travel cons ❌ frequent and long loading screens ❌ repetitive gameplay with the same mini-games and scripted sequences ❌ relies too heavily on scripted action and stealth sequences, tedious and frustrating QTEs, and mini-games. Fortunately, you can skip these gameplay elements if you prefer not to engage with them ❌ The Mayan temple puzzle chamber with all these annoying and frustrating traps is tedious to play Overall, this is an enjoyable addition to the long-running Sherlock Holmes adventure series with multiple engaging storylines, new action and stealth gameplay elements, and well-designed environments.
