Sekiro™: Shadows Die Twice - GOTY Edition

sekiro para mí representa la excelencia, facilmente en mi top 3 de mejores videojuegos que he jugado. Su sistema de combate es simplemente brillante ya que cada enfrentamiento se siente como un duelo donde la precisión, el ritmo y la paciencia son más importantes que subir de nivel. Cuando dominas las mecánicas de desvío y postura, la satisfacción es enorme. la ambientacion, el apartado artistico y la banda sonora que acompaña los combates es fantastico y por ultimo la pelea contra el jefe final es la culminación de todo lo que has aprendido durante la aventura: desvíos, control del ritmo, paciencia, agresividad y lectura de los movimientos del rival. No se siente como un muro injusto, sino como el examen definitivo que pone a prueba tu habilidad. 10/10

This is my first fromsoftware game. I didn’t understand the appeal, but now I do. The “getting gud” rewarding in a different way than any other game. 100% recommend

Probably my favorite game of all time, and that's coming from someone with nearly 10k hours in Minecraft. Everything about the game is just flawless. There's a level of polish that Fromsoft is known for delivering, but this game goes past all the others. While I recommend playing a different souls game first (see my Elden Ring review), this game feels like it improves so much on all the things that make the genre great. I don't think there's a single boss in the game that I would describe as being annoying, whereas I think I could name a few in each other game. I just wish there was more.
