No. Just no. At this point, mr Gilbert should be put out to pirate pasture. When you keep doubling down on incredibly stupid disappointing endings, you don't deserve to get anything better. If the rest of the game were any improvement over other earlier games, there'd be some consolation. But there really isn't anything refreshing on any front. No new mechanics, no new minigames, some appalling voice acting, ... The puzzles are not hard, the only one I struggled with was one that actually didn't make sense (faking your ID when the judge already established your real ID earlier). It was over faster than any MI game I played before. I just left the game on overnight and totaled 54 hours, meaning it lasted me only about 3 evenings or about 6 hours actual play time. MI2's ending was bad, Thimbleweed Park was even worse. You'd think a writer would start questioning wether it's a good idea to keep going down that absurd narrative path... I mean, even if you were to buy in the "narrative" of this ending, there is absolutely NO subtance to it. At least in Thimbleweed Park, however annoying it was, there was SOME narrative effort in the meta stuff. But this Monkey Island ending is just insulting and looks like it was written on a piece of toilet paper 5 minutes before the deadline. Ron Gilbert can continue to claim all the creative ownership over Monkey Island and act like other entries don't exist for all I care, but Monkey Island 3 was an amazing follow-up that made me forget about MI2's bad ending. This game, by his pen, is a continuation of his poor writing and made me realise he's not going to change, ever. It's sad, I had good hopes for this one. But all this absurd meta storytelling has taken away any appeal possible future installments might have.

bueno
I played all games from the series from the beginning but this one is too retarded, max age play is 7 years old..
Sensaciones agridulces.
Fun and well polished return to monkey island. Anyone that loved the originals will adore this one :)
