I paid over $60 NZD for this game two years ago, and instead of improving, it’s gone backwards. Multiplayer one of the core features still doesn’t function the way it did in earlier versions, yet the developer has prioritized adding in-game currency and monetization systems. That’s incredibly frustrating as a paying customer. It feels like the focus has shifted away from fixing core gameplay and toward generating more revenue across PC, Xbox, and now PS5, without delivering a stable experience first. I’ve stuck with this game for a long time hoping it would improve, but watching it decline while more monetization gets added is disappointing. I have now uninstalled the game and won’t be returning. I don’t support developers who prioritize monetization over delivering on what was already paid for. I cannot recommend this game in its current state. I’d strongly suggest waiting until the core features especially multiplayer are properly fixed before spending any money on it.

I loved this game, it was exatly what i wanted, skate but BMX. Sadly they came out with an update that made it so you have to PAY FOR COMMUNITY CREATED MAPS WTFFF!!! Sadly i will no longer be playing this game until they take this system out of the game.
Dev is a raging lunatic that magically ruins the game every other day with a new update. To top it off he acts as if his paying player base are his QA team and is more sensitive than the nerve endings on a human's finger tips. Oh, and he makes you pay for cosmetics that neither work, nor are persistent across sessions, and are also broken every other update. Don't even get me started on the quarter-baked multiplayer that only works if you and your friend's chakras align properly during a blue moon. Every time I launch the game I am embarrassed to have spent 20 euro on this heaping pile of trash.
As someone who was a serious supporter of the Mash Games titles, modded the first game, BMX Pipe, and bought this game at launch, I’m honestly disappointed. At first, I had fun with it. Sure, it was a bit buggy and the online mode wasn't working very well, but there were ways to work around those issues. The physics felt superior, and while the controls took some time to get used to, the game had a solid foundation. Overall, I was excited to keep playing. When version 2.0 was released, however, I started to lose confidence. The map was gone, there were no challenges, some maps had missing textures and the tutorial didn't work properly. Even when it did, it felt cheap—just a few obstacles and textureless polygons floating in space. It certainly didn't feel like a game worth the €35–40 I paid for it. Instead of feeling like an upgrade, it felt like a downgrade. When I tried to play with friends, I discovered that wasn't really possible either, so I gradually stopped playing. Coming back to the game now is even more disappointing. It feels like all the life has been sucked out of it, and it comes across as a cash grab. There are in-game purchases now? Seriously? Please focus on fixing the game. Add proper online multiplayer without requiring mods, bring back the original controls, and restore some of the features that made the game fun. The old flair system was great, and the flip/spin controls were much better than the Pipe controls. Yes, the original map was probably too big, but at least there was a map. There were challenges. There was online play. There was content. Right now, it feels like the game has lost much of what made it enjoyable in the first place.
Not the same game as when it first came out. major set back. Feels like the guy who developed the smooth feel to the game left the studio and took everything good about the game with him. not to mention all the challenges to unlock bike parts are gone and they just give everyone everything so all the grinding I did was for nothing. bring back the game I love and paid for. if not give me my money back please. Not the same game I bought.
Micro transactions/paid mods in a game with broken character models, Pass....
yeah i dont knnow about adding paid currency chief, should be making a better multiplayer and maybe hair options or anything else the community wants
1.0 was better this version the way how the game has a main menu now I don't like it. After going a long time without playing the game i liked hopping on and being thrown right into it the missions are gone, the scavenging for parts are gone, the stunt jumps are gone, there is no point for getting on anymore if everything is just unlocked for you. i would just hop on the game press start and boom into the main map i go and redo the missions if its been a while. Someone point me to 1.0 because going into the tutorial map and relearning everything does not do it for me it was better the way it was not to mention the customizability was super in depth i could individually swap out left and right grips end caps have the screws individually colored and have three builds
I have not logged into the game for a few months and I am f'n shocked to find community created content is now locked behind a microtransaction ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ paywall!!! Get all the way f'd you greedy arseholes. Uninstall.
mash... a raging moron tbh.. ruins the game overnight with microtransactions and other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
