Can't get game to load.

Great Game great to get you into the books or if you have read the books

I loved this game but the current steam version says there is a problem with .trx file when you try to pick up Jazhara in chapter 0. I've spent a long time trying to trouble shoot this to no avail. I could also not get the characters nor NPCs to display on a Windows 11 machine. I'm guessing its due to the absence of Direct3D but I didn't test that.

[h1][i]Return to Krondor[/i] (1998) is the sequel to [i]Betrayal at Krondor[/i] (1993), a team/party turn-based RPG game like Final Fantasy set in medieval times. I ran around the prologue fountain for 15 minutes, never finding the mage I was sent to look for. The controls are non-existent and the map is useless. It took a J*wTube video to help me figure out you needed to buy a weapon and armor up to kill random people in a house YOU BROKE INTO to venture through. Nice. 5/10[/h1]

The gameplay holds up pretty well. I'm actually pleasantly surprised. 😀

The best kept secret in early PC RPGs, this game is a 1998 gem with compelling characters, incredible story plot, & a thrilling but comfy turn-based fighting system. Based on the incredible world created by author Raymond E. Feist, Krondor is a rich & captivating landscape, dark & enchanting, filled with secrets & the greatest adventures.

GOOD rpg game a little on the slow side excelent for beginners

can't play the game, something pops up that is unreadable..so glad I]'ve somehow played for hours and never even seen a load screen.. I loved this game back in the day.
