Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.14/day in the week to Sep 7 → 17.29/day in the week after.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

ya se ha dicho todo de este juego, me gusta mas que el 4 pero es una opinion personal siento que me enamore de la masion y de como me hace sentir me lo pase en mi nintendo y lo compre aqui por que lo merecia
Hands down, the best game of all time. Such a unique formative experience where fear is not just born from the thick oppressive atmosphere of the liminal mansion, but tangled within the limitations of camera mobility and tank controls. The team turned their technical limitations into the game's greatest strength, where even late into the experience maneuvering past one zombie in a hallway can feel like a mountainous achievement. I am blown away every time I realise this came out in 2002, the pre-rendered backgrounds are saturated with detail which pop with intense flashes of lightning and warm flickers of sporadic lanterns. The lumbering sounds of footsteps on carpet elongate and bounce against the tight walls to suffocate you, a chamber of density momentarily decompressed by a cracks of thunder or the thud of a zombie beating against a door (I wonder If they also must watch the cutscene). What impresses me the most is the ability for the game to recognize the perfect time to switch up this winning formula. When you first exit the mansion you are relived of suffocation by open inhalation, which quickly becomes just as oppressive on that winding walk through the forest where fear is now exposure and boundlessness - as Stockholm Syndrome takes hold you long for the safety of mansion walls with which you had just began to earn familiarity. The save rooms are perfectly executed havens of warmth and comfort, especially when loading into a save. The black screen fading into lantern light with that beautifully arpeggiated theme beckons you in, "In the darkness lies your fears". Every decision carries weight that burdens through the rest of the game, bad choices multiply while patience and foresight compound. In a modern landscape of games that play themselves, completing RE1 feels like an achievement you can own. A ballad to an era where video games were a new form of art, a fountain of possibility where great ideas could be experienced idiosyncratically with every new save rather than a hollow platform for corporate subscriptions and microtransactions.
