Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
Looks great, the atmosphere is nice and haunting, piecing together the puzzle of how to move through the map and which resources to bring, min maxing saves is really fun, it can become tedious if you're missing 1 key point/item and just have to keep resetting until you find it. The set camera points through the levels are positive and negative as they make the game look really beautiful at some points, but can also make shooting really annoying if the enemy is right in front of you, but the screen cuts them off so you might be shooting a bit to the left or right. The characters are a bit goofy and the dialogue is very whatever, figuring out the stories of what happened in the mansion is compelling and the biggest reward factor throughout the game.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Masterpiece Remake
I finished the game twice, the first time playing as Chris on Normal difficulty, which took me 24h03 (13h according to the in-game timer), and the second time playing as Jill on Hard difficulty, which took me 7h55. Jill's playthrough is much easier than Chris's due to her additional inventory slots, her grenade launcher and her lockpick, which allows her to access certain areas of the mansion much more quickly. Now, onto the different categories: Level Design — 3.5/5 The level design is very good, but not excellent in my opinion. There is a bit too much backtracking overall, which makes the experience feel unnecessarily longer (imo). Without that, the score could easily have been a 4 or even a 4.5, especially when it comes to the mansion. The further you progress, the more shortcuts you unlock, and overall the mansion remains a truly impressive piece of level design. World Design — 4/5 The world is very interesting. You can tell that the lore is very rich, with little notes scattered everywhere, and it is genuinely enjoyable to explore the game and discover more about it. Everything is coherent and makes sense, which is one of the game's biggest strengths. Art Direction — 4.5/5 Probably the best aspect of the game. The design of the mansion, the other locations, the creatures, the ambiance and the atmosphere all work really well together. Soundtrack — 3.5/5 There are some good tracks that enhance the atmosphere the game is trying to create. They sometimes add tension when necessary, or provide a sense of relief in the safe rooms. I would have liked a bit more variety, though, because overall, none of the tracks really stood out to me, and I didn't find them particularly memorable. Gameplay — 2.5/5 One of the game's weakest aspects in my opinion. The bosses are memorable because of their designs, but not because of their mechanics or anything else. The controls are still annoying to handle even after 32 hours of playtime. The backtracking becomes seriously tedious after a few hours, and shooting simply isn't enjoyable. The puzzles are nice, but if we're being honest, they are fairly simplistic and often follow the same formula (item X has to go on item Y or in room X). It's not necessarily unpleasant, but it's not particularly enjoyable either. Main Characters — 1.5/5 Pretty disappointing. Jill and Chris are rather poorly written and bland. They feel like they have almost no personality, and after all this playtime, I don't feel attached to either of them. They aren't bad characters, and there is potential there, but it simply isn't explored, which is a shame. Cast — 1.5/5 Pretty much the same as the main characters. Barry is the character I find the most interesting, but even then, not by much. Rebecca just felt inconsistent from beginning to end. Villain — 3/5 A good antagonist. I didn't necessarily expect this as I progressed through the game, and during my first playthrough it was a genuine surprise when I reached the final section. However, I found the character underdeveloped, and their "conclusion" wasn't satisfying. Story — 3/5 A good story, better than what I expected, if I'm being honest. I found the beginning very slow, especially with Chris, and I had a hard time getting invested because of it. This is clearly what brings the score down, as Jill's campaign undoubtedly had better pacing and a more coherent story. Overall, the story only becomes genuinely interesting during the final section. Before that, it wasn't anything exceptional. Ending — 2.5/5 The final boss (like the other bosses) is only memorable because of its design (and even then), while mechanically it's a 0. The ending itself wasn't nearly as extraordinary as I expected it to be, and although it wasn't necessarily disappointing, it was simply okay. Final Score — 3/5 The average of my ratings comes down to 2,95/5. I enjoyed the experience, especially the horror, survival and all the tension that created. And while I understand that this game is a classic that pioneered the survival horror genre, in terms of personal enjoyment, I still feel like it left me wanting more. The game did make me want to discover the Resident Evil franchise, though, and the remake of Resident Evil 2 looks genuinely great. Total playtime : 31h58
