活全家跑酷,活全家视角
I’ve probably beaten this game 3 or 4 times now I can't fully remember the exact number, but all times were with different people I know irl in co-op, and the first time was solo. I just keep coming back to it. So I'll just say, I’m honestly not gonna tolerate the pure hate this game gets anymore. Everyone complains because the classic survival horror aspects "aren't there as much," but let's be real that style had been gone from the franchise for a good minute anyway. Literally neither RE4 nor RE5 leaned into pure horror. They were already over-the-top action shooters, and people still call them masterpieces. RE6 just kept that energy going, and it’s a blast. First off, RE6 has one of if not the absolute best and sleekest looking UIs in all of gaming. It has this super clean, holographic neon look that perfectly matches the high-tech phones and devices they use in-game. It actually feels cohesive with the world instead of just being a boring overlay menu. The combat itself is incredibly fun and can get genuinely challenging. People love to complain that the game is "too easy" and that you don't even need to manage your inventory. Yeah, okay buddy. Go play this on the hardest difficulty, get overwhelmed by a horde, and then get back to me lol. Not to mention, the PC/Steam version of the game has an exclusive mode called No Mercy for the Mercenaries mode, which packs way more enemies on screen at once than the old console versions did. The enemies are also pretty unique. A few of them can be annoying, sure, but they’re still cool concepts. Plus, the game is beautifully gory. The movement is probably the best we have ever had in a Resident Evil game. It has full 360-degree diving, sliding into cover, shooting while lying flat on your back, crawling, swimming, rolling while on your back, and a deep counter-attack system kind of like the RE4 remake. People who hate the game usually just play it like a generic shooter, but the combat completely opens up once you realize you can dive around like Max Payne. Where this game really shines is the co-op. Playing this with a friend is unmatched, especially since there are multiple campaigns. Depending on which character you pick in any given campaign, your actual route and gameplay loop change completely. It gives the game a lot of replayability. Each campaign ultimately leads up to the exact same major moments, but everyone got there a completely different way, faced their own struggles, and had different motives. It is so interesting to see how everyone’s story intertwines for completely different reasons. And I ain't gonna lie, that one mission with Jake in the mountains where you're riding snowmobiles might literally be my favorite mission in the entire Resident Evil franchise. It was just pure, unadulterated fun. There's honestly no interesting lore in that specific part of the mission fr, but the gameplay alone is peak. All in all, I give this game a solid 8/10 with a friend, and a 7/10 solo. If you like RE4 or RE5, I don't see what there isn't to like about this game besides maybe the music and the amount of quick time events, but that ain't even a huge deal. Oh, and did I mention Ada is in the game? Yeah, she’s in here, and she looks as good as always. Her co-op partner, Agent, is dope too mostly just because his gear reminds me of Hunk if I'm being honest. I'm pretty sure I'm speaking for the entire RE6 community when saying that lol.
