Before the mansion, before the destruction of Raccoon City, there was Resident Evil 0. Now remastered with improved visuals and sounds, as well as the all-new Wesker Mode, there's never been a better time to experience the origins of the Resident Evil story.

We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game was a wet dog turd. I don’t know where to begin other than that I live the RE franchise and absolutely hated this game. The entire game is spent jumbling inventory with no rhyme or reason, oh and if you don’t carry the grenade launcher or stockpile all the way to the end, you’re not going to beat the final boss. There’s nothing fun about this game and I couldn’t even finish it because of how poorly it was designed.
Buen juego, pero tiene un problema de los Items y falta de Baules, al final su novedad termino siendo un problema es un 7 de 10.
Слишком много лишних и нелепых заданий!
GREAT GAME
Эта игра очень хорошая, но устарела для 2026. Фанатам серии думаю зайдет
If you're still new to Resident Evil, you should play Resident Evil 1 first as everyone says (the HD remake, it's excellent), but of the four I've played so far, I think this game is the second best! However, I'll help you by telling you, in detail, but without spoilers, everything bad about this game and tips to negate these issues, THEN I'll get why this game is really good, despite these parts that suck! (no pun intended). The #1 biggest issue people rightfully have, is there are no item boxes in this game... for some absolutely, unspeakable Capcom-like reason. Tip 1: You can install the "Item Box" mod by "descawed" from NexusMods. If you get "Fluffy Mod Manager", it installs it for you. It worked perfectly for me. It even kept the achievements active. If you don't want to mod, interacting with items you can't carry will just mark them on your map. Just be prepared for a LOT of unnecessary running around that way. Some people mod the door animations away instead (I like them, for the vibes). Tip 2: No, you're not going insane, you ARE supposed to use the lighter there, where it's clearly shown you're supposed to use it. The game is not, however, telling you the lighter is EMPTY. Yes, I know! You HAVE been lighting molotov cocktails all day at no cost, strongly indicating the lighter is fine... I know. Oh and I agree; the game just telling you "you can't use that", making it seem like you're trying to plug a chicken nugget into a satalite, along with not telling you WHY you can't AND the clue showing a completely different lighting tool, could indeed make you think you need something else that doesn't actually exist in the game! And no! The lighter does not, in fact, need to be filled before or after this point! Tip 3: Yes, you are supposed to get those coloured chemicals, and Rebecca does have room to take. I know the text says "you already have X chemical" but she won't actually get rid of that, she'll literally mix them in the same pot right then and there. Correct, she only uses one of the jars in her mixing kit, despite the game clearly showing she has two. Tip 4: The box pushing puzzle is janky, it's not you, it's like a pixel's difference. Be prepared to reset a lot, even when you've long since figured it out. Tip 5: Show NO mercy to the white monkeys when you get to them; don't try and save your special ammo; they need to be taught a valuable lesson. Bonus tip: Oh, and while we're at this section, Rebecca is not where the game literally showed her being, she's actually a level below. The game is just not telling you that, it's also making it seem like she IS there, by urging you to hurry and do something when you examine exactly the point where the game showed her being. Yes, you do actually have time to go all the way down to that area that you unlocked; you must ignore this apparent emergency, in this apparently obvious location, and go there instead. These tips I left basically encompass the biggest issues I had with the game, with the exception of item boxes which I just fixed. This game clearly gets in it's own way sometimes, even when you know what to do, it can make it seem like you're not supposed to do it through poorly designed sections. The lighter and Rebecca's chemical mixing did cause me to get stuck for a good hour on each, as I looked around aimlessly for non-existent alternatives to what I already knew to do, and these were not fun hours. Ironically, looking around with an aim, to explore, discover, take in the atmosphere and put things together, especially when you do have an idea of what to do or where to go, is where the game shines, which is luckily the majority of the time, which I'll get to. As alluded to, the last issues to mention are when the game became insufferably frustrating, on two occasions specifically; the white monkey/find Rebecca section, and the box pushing puzzle. With the monkeys, I don't know why developers think enemies that stun-lock and annoy you to death are acceptable, I do not understand it at all and never did; it's artificial challenge based on making the player controls broken and useless. This doesn't make you tense nor frightened, it makes you pissed off, stressed and have a horrible time playing the game; it's like saying a screaming kid in a classical concert makes the experience "more visceral". I was really enjoying the game then once I experienced this section, I felt my heart and mind literally sink like "Yipee! Oh. This is game is going to be ♥♥♥♥, isn't it?". I had no idea just how little of the game they're actually in! So I was left to fear the worst. After they annoyed me to death, and almost ruined the game for me, I got the most powerful weapon I had and destroyed them all. ...THEN! To top that off, you don't even have to be in the location the game showed you where you have to be! You have to go to the different location with less urgency completely against your instincts and against what the game is showing and telling you! Horray! I just felt drained and annoyed after I completed this part, like I never wanted to pick this game up again; it's such a badly designed section, and I thought this would be what the rest of the game would be like too. The box pushing puzzle to a lesser extent had the same effect; the jank of the movements and the undefined amount of space needed, knowing full well what to do but there's a few pixels between "will fit fine" and "you have to leave the room and reset it again" is unfun. Now, that's all the crap! How is it "really good?". Well, including my 2 hours running around aimlessly, which you should now be able to avoid, all these annoyances probably contributed about 3.5 hours in total out of my 15 hour gameplay, and the rest of the time it was classic, cathartic survival horror; I'm so glad I kept playing because it's really very good. The atmosphere is dreary and heavy, the locations are very immersive, even if they don't reach some of the aesthetic heights of the RE1 HD remake. Exploring, the location design, the textures, the sound effects are mostly a pleasure to experience, I really enjoyed discovering the vast majority of this game. The puzzles are better than before, a couple are really quite tricky, most are just tricky enough, but all of them (other than the sliding boxes) I thought were fun to solve. This game also introduced having two capable characters together throughout the majority of the game. It's easy to manage as well; there's a button to switch between the characters, at any time you can move the other character where they need to be without switching, another button makes them stay or follow, you can exchange items and you can even change character while using the inventory too, which actually helps the storage mod work better. Simply having someone capable there, being alert and shooting things you can't see yet, was very helpful; combat and puzzling works well here. The main antagonist is extremely unfrightening though, very Capcom. I'll go further to say I don't think many of the main enemies are even unsettling, but there's a nice variety, and, other than the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ white monkeys I already mentioned, I enjoyed the combat challenge and thrill of engaging with almost all of them. Before I even played a Resident Evil at all, it was already clear from comments this was not the game people think you should start with, and they're absolutely right. A few examples of poor design (and a couple of REALLY poor design) let some sections of this game down, but it's genuinely enjoyable overall; it's like the proper follow-up to RE1 HD, despite taking place just before. I hope my tips will help you avoid some of the crap unnecessarily! Of the ones I've played so far I'd rank them: 1. RE1 HD. 2. RE0 HD (with the item box mod). 3. RE2 original (with the HD mod). 4. RE3 original (with the HD mod). You should absolutely play it.
